I'm pretty sure the first rule of DayZ is don't get attached to your gear, followed by watch out for douches, every second person and the one before that are douches. Followed by nowhere is safe.

Not as far as I know. I just use mumble, which has an FPS display as part of the in game overlay. If you have a good pc, then you could always run mumble in the background :P

Try it in real life, if it's a big enough door and if you do it hard enough.... But no, it's a bug. Just stay clear when opening and closing.

It's the same for every SD gun. Every gun with a silencer can only take SD rounds. Using normal rounds would cause damage. Non-SD guns can take SD rounds though. I've never found any camo or ghillie suits. In about 2 months+ of playing.

Being a bandit to get revenge is fine, but make sure you pick the right people first.... I'm not sure how you'd tell for sure, but we've run into some people lately who didn't DC... we were like WTF? It was nice.

Have you disabled everything that can be disabled in the advanced video options? If not, try that. Otherwise... maybe a different server? Also, google optimising performance arma 2 or something, there are other settings in config etc you can alter that help with some things. Video card drivers all up to date? You can do this via steam if you are using that?

Hey all, I'm getting a weird problem with my sound when I play ArmA2/DayZ. Directional audio is reversed, so some noise happening to the right gets played through the left side of my headset (genius HS-04SU) Using mumble, which seems to support directional sound.... so, anyone have any ideas? It gets kind of annoying, because everytime you hear something, you have to actually remind yourself that it is in the opposite direction :dodgy: EDIT: Seems like there is a range of causes for this, but I believe I have it narrowed down to the wiring between the front green/pink sound plugs and the motherboard, pretty sure they need to be swapped around. New PC next week though, so I won't bother.

It kind of looks like the threw the blue one a lot further than the first one, and the red one a little further too, but not as much. As he moves back, they disappear in that order too.

Eh, I dunno. Maybe. I'd probably wait and see if I even get bored of it first. 150 hours in and no sign of boredom as yet.

Seems fine to me. Rocket stated that stuff like infiltrating a clans teamspeak is allowed, so that seems like it would be along the same lines, and thus be allowed.

They haven't done a ban in the 10 days you've had that forum account. Maybe in a few days or next week. Like that guy said, they do mass bans every once in awhile. Solution? Please let us know.

Rocket has a custom skin that he uses.... in game I guess. That sounds like it. Some hacker must have changed your skin to that. Not sure what to do about it.
