  1. I was playing earlier. Maybe 4 hours ago. Some servers had issues, other ones were fine. Didn't lose anything or experience any bad bugs except for bad desync.

  11. You just need to find a group or something. There are a few channels with TS or equiv. that everyone can jump into anyway.

    They're just zombies you've spotted. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, seems a bit random. In theory, players would show up as blue dots anyway.

  14. Haha, I think the same thing. Who cares wtf people call it, you know what they are talking about. Some people just love to bitch about the smallest insignificant little things. But... but... what if ingame you ask me to give you a clip and I actually give you a clip, you won't be able to load it into your M16 or AK! Unless... you have some spare empty mags on you, then you simply load the bullets into the empty mag! :D Load the bullets? You mean rounds/cartridges, right? :D
  15. I think there are plans to stop this kind of behaviour. While lots of people do it, it is considered an exploit. Hopefully it will be fixed soon... Probably with some kind of timer, which leaves your body there for x amount of time before it actually vanishes.
  16. Side chat was useful sometimes, but the douches who decided to turn it on and play an album of rap music.... yeah I'm happy we don't have it now haha. EDIT: I kind of wish people would look into things themselves before they come on here and rage. If you'd been keeping up with dayz news, you'd know that there are plans for radios. Possibly a whole radio netowrk type system. Sounds very cool.

    I think it's important to remember that zombies and zombie apocalypses aren't actually real, thus trying to argue how "realistic" anything is when related to zombies is kind of tough. What might be 'logical' to you, might be the opposite to someone else, and what evidence have you got? Only what's in your imagination.
  20. I've found that playing at night on a server with the stars and moon out (or with NVG) is alright, but the main problem then, is the zombies that amass inside the buildings. You have to move from prone to crouch/stand to get inside, and as soon as you do, you either agro zombies outside, or are forced to kill the ones chilling inside, which then attracts all the others anyway. Deer stands, barns and single residental houses are managable due to the small number of zombies and/or the room to move in and around them. But I wouldn't like to try to get into a town or airbase, at least not with a few other people. When I'm planning to loot somewhere, I have to evaluate whether or not I'm going to get enough ammo back to maintain my supply. If not, I tend not to bother. If you don't, you will eventually run out of ammo, and things will get pretty difficult from there.
