You'd be surprised. :) And I say what i say because there have been threads like this before, where people are suggesting loot to be harder, etc. etc. and always there is someone complaining that it'd be too realistic and not much fun. this isn't first ever thread on loot suggesting to be harder to find. haha

This is where the fun line comes into play. If it was that realistic, a lot of people would whine they were dying of hunger and just quit the game. I would love to see a game where it's purely hardcore survival like the things you listed above, but the realism and fun line have to hit heads here.

My only solution is to say lower your FOV. Or atleast provide a screenshot of what it looks like. I can't really help without a pic of this. -

Most likely a hacker lol. Sounded like you got hatcheted in the brain. He most likely was on you or teleported to you and whacked you in the brain.

That's fine, nobody ever said you had to listen to my guess. The clan I posted isn't for SA only anyway. I love playing SA too, but I play Mod as well. :) -
You most likely joined a private hive. Most of the private hives are very customized and will give you a choice of gender, spawn location, etc. etc. Try joining an official server, which you can see in DayZ Commander on the far left of servers.

I've known about this glitch forever haha. Btw, the bayonet isn't completely useless. You can open canned food with it I'm pretty sure. -

Imo no matter how many people you put on a map, they will still crowd the good loot towns, and little towns will still be abandon, since there's no use in going to them. -

You can't just go into the player count and change the two digit 40 to the three digit 100. If they changed the servers to 100 player count, that would be very stressful on some hardware, and I'm pretty sure that's what they're working on atm.. Correct me if I'm wrong. -
Now this makes me wonder how many mp5's I've missed by not taking a second look at the police cars.. :facepalm:
