I prefer DayZ Commander aswell, just like TIC had said. Gives you easy access to browsing servers, and nicer/clean looking. Plus you can install a number of mods from DayZ commander just with one click of a button! :) And also you can join servers by TWO clicks of a button! :) P.S, I love your signature! :thumbsup:

Make your own Taviana server? :P I gave Taviana a try, didn't much like it. I think a lot of people are with me on that too, but oh well! I think once people see how bad SA will be, they'll come back to DayZ, and more servers will show up, or when Epoch dies down. ;3

I like taking helis around the corner of the maps, especially the Northern areas. I tend to find many tents/cars/urals up in that area. Not to mention the rare chance of a heli crash! :thumbsup:

I play it because I like realism games, and I like Zombie games. Yeah there will always be bugs in games, and I try my best to look over those. Now some of the Epoch servers, those really grind my gears... Especially when the zombies will hit you from 5 feet away, it sometimes rustles my jimmies, but I like the concept enough to be able to look over most of the bugs.

Hello! I'd like to go ahead and thank you for reading this. Well, i'm a couple months old to DayZ. I'd just like to have someone to play with.. Considering the huge open world map of DayZ can get a bit boring alone at times. :) I played WarZ with 3 other people and I had a blast. That was before the mass bans came out and the game got to be awful. A little about myself: Well, i'm 14 years of age. I enjoy roleplaying and strategy games and games like these. My maturity level is 9/10 i'd say, I enjoy joking around and such at times but I do know when it's time to get serious. I play other games such as Minecraft, Civilization 5, and lots more. Hello everyone. :3 Decided to start a new topic just to chat, considering I haven't in a while. I'd like to just ask people's thoughts on the Standalone? I saw Dean's recent video, and unfortunately, didn't like it :( It looks like it will be suuuper graphic enhanced, and take a good computer to run it. Plus, running Zeds.... >_> Don't get me wrong, I LOVE DayZ, but this whole running Zeds thing, WHY... I don't get it. Kinda ruins everything I know about zombies, I mean the first thing you think of zombies is slow and flesh eating. :P And just by recent footage, I can't say I'm looking forward to the Standalone. :( What are you guy's thoughts? :)

Yeah, I see where you're coming from with that. I could see like having them in hordes, or swarms, where they kinda come out of no where. Or kinda like (Dare I say the name) WarZ zombies, sorta... But yeah, It probably would get boring quite fast.

Uhm.. There is no "booby trap" in vanilla DayZ, although there IS bear traps? Maybe someone using that to say "booby trap?"

I recommend running through DayZ commander, should fix the whole version "1.62" issue.

Addon issue. Hello! First off, I'd like to thank you for taking your time to read this.So, my issue is this stupid dayz_anim. I've got DaiZy Single-player. And it all works fine except for an issue with dayz_anim, and I know this might not be the proper place to ask for help about single-player, but, it's a dayz_anim issue. And it's the "Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CAAir2_Pchela1T'" Issue. So, I was wondering if any of you knew where I could get like a site to where I could download DayZ addons, so I could put it in or replace it with a proper one. Thank you! -Zed.

Ehmm.. I really do not want to reinstall, but uh, I'm checking game cache atm. And this only happens when I try to play Singleplayer, and prevents me from loading back into a mission.

You could try lowering graphics settings? Options > Video options > Then lower them Another fix is to go to Start > Documents > Then there should be folders that say ArmA 2 (If you've played it) And, ArmA 2 OA. Open The OA one. Inside there should be ArmA2OA.cfg, you can open it with notepad, or notepad++ (I use notepad++) There should be two lines that are named: GPU_MaxFramesAhead=(number);GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=(number); Change the number that's after '=' to 1, on both of them, save that and close it all, that'll help frames a bit also. Your setup is pretty good, it should be running DayZ well. Another tip: Sometimes it's the server. Find a server with a good restart schedule. You could also disable Anti-Aliasing, and Postprocess Effects, they push your GPU to its limits also. If all else fails; you can try out DaiZy single-player.
