They're still early in development also. I'd just give it some time, not long though before they'll have it figured out. (Since they just added them not long ago.)
-
Oh ok, I knew it had something to do with pulses.
-
Yeah just trolling. Although the strange pulse, I think I read somewhere, that in the future that means you could/ you're about to have a heart attack.
-
If you could find a map you could start setting waypoints and just get closer and closer until you get your approximate position. Shift+Left click to make waypoints. But by what you described, I think you're in Elektrozavodsk. :)

Yeah I enjoy things like that sometimes. But like Crimson said above, it's old. The way I look at DayZ mod now is torn up with mods, and just shredded. The one thing I like with SA is that there aren't a lot of hackers and that there isnt branched off mods, so everyone is all on the same game mode. I see it being a whole lot more clearer. But SA is still really early into Alpha and I'm sure they will find ways to make it more frightening, because for it to be in Alpha the game is absolutely amazing, and I cannot even wait for the Beta much less the finished product.

Should I start DayZ Mod this late in the game?
Zedertone replied to Grimey Rick's topic in New Player Discussion
I bought SA and played a little bit of it, but got kinda bored after a little while. I've been really into the youtube videos though, but with the mod, there is a lot more guns, and all that stuff. I would definitely give the mod a try if you're just bored of SA's content, because in the mod there is a lot more. Although like mentioned above there are more hackers than in SA. My overall would be a yes. :) -

Flickering and Reaping textures in Dayz and Arma. Makes it impossible to play. I can never see anything cause gray is always on my face
Zedertone replied to UltraGaming's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
I saw them a while back aswell. Like a month or so, but that's the only time. I've seen them on Youtube videos and the recorders just kinda disregard it, try joining different servers, and re-installing if diff. servers doesn't work. Also check your drivers, and make sure your GPU isn't over heating or something like that. -

Day Z Standalone on a mac - is it possible?
Zedertone replied to oliverouten's topic in General Discussion
I used to play on specs like that but an i3 and I could get sometimes 20 FPS out of town. But in Cherno I'd get around 7. (That was on DayZ mod) So I really don't know about Standalone. -
Loving the Standalone......real apocalypse feel.

Zedertone replied to barrett_killz's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I wouldn't figure. I plan to buy it soon. :D -
A lot of people have an issue running it with amazing PC's because of some sort of error. But without error, he may have mistaken his one DayZ window for 10 of them.

I built my own gun holder type thing with a tight band I pull down on the gun, and the wooden 2x4 pieces keep it from falling over. Just for when I'm zeroing in a gun. :)
