I disagree with this suggestion entirely. That said, if it was to be shortened, only halve it. Have 2 12-hour day/night cycles, as opposed to 4.8 5-hour day/night cycles. Also those realism arguments are unnecessary. Realism needs to be suspended for critical gameplay mechanics or the game wouldn't be fun.

The larger number of zombies means you need to be smart about your ammo. A Makarov can one shot a zombie if you hit it in the head. Don't go wasting 3 shots to the body. Don't go killing zombies that don't need to be killed - play smart. I disagree with needing to change the starting weapon. The revolver is just too strong.

Zombies do carry stuff. You're probably just unlucky. Civilian zombies will carry drinks/food/empty cans and civilian ammo. Military zombies carry military related gear so chemlights, grenades etc. I disagree with placing a map on a zombies loot table unless it is hella rare.

You won't spawn near each other unless you're lucky. You will spawn along the coast somewhere. Pay attention to the text that shows up bottom right of the screen when you spawn and it'll tell you where you are. You can use nearby landmarks to try and find each other. Or try and find a sign with a city's name on it. There are restarts, but your character doesn't lose any gear that they were carrying. You can also use tents to store items on a server, but they can be buggy. Your character is the same on any server.

Welcome to the world of Alpha testing :) Yes its only a very early alpha stage atm. It'll be fixed if and when it can be. Till then be patient and keep re-trying. Works for me :) Try having a book sitting next to your computer

I recall someone posting about this before. I think a dev mentioned that it was an arma function. As such it would be annoying, if even possible, to code out. -
Servers are community hosted. Most have their own donation system up. Check out the Servers Forum. Wait... reread your post. You're talking about the database server >.< Rocket has mentioned his thoughts on donations before. Basically saying that he'd like to set up a clear method of transparency for donations so you know exactly what your money is doing as well as rigidly defining what level of input you have into where your money goes/ideas for the game etc. I'd be happy to contribute as well, but I don't believe it's going to be something in the near future.

There was a thread somewhere where rocket mentioned implementing skills. But it read more as a reward for staying alive longer and doing things repeatedly so you become better at it. As opposed to choosing a class and spawning in as rifleman/medic etc. I'm not sure if it was related to a levelling/experience system. I read it as being you have a greater chance of learning a skill the more you do the associated action. iunno.

There is no "teamkilling" This is a SOLO survival mod with zombies. There are no teams for teamkilling to even occur. Your suggestion turns the game from a solo survival mod with zombies where other players need to be, and are a genuine threat, into a team deathmatch survival game with zombies. NO. -
Honestly? Have you ever been outside at night when there is no moon? In proper nighttime darkness? Stop trying to make this game too easy.

Instead of having goals and missions being forced down your throat by the devs via NPCs, why don't you try getting creative?
