One or the other definitely. Having radiation on top of temperature might make it a bit too much. Out of the two, temperature, I feel, is the more appropriate. And I'm usually an advocate of increasing the challenge in this mod >.>
-
1. I disagree. With the addition of the temperature function, creating and maintaining fires needed to become more challenging. 2. Throw them to distract zombies.
-
Extremely unnecessary reply. I may disagree with the idea as well, but he has a right to voice his opinion. OP, I would suggest, if you haven't read it, you look for the thread rocket ran gathering people's ideas regarding payment models etc. Most of the responses in this thread seem to echo it.

That's an excellent attitude. The devs are aware of some players' issues with zombie speed and pathing. This is a mod in Alpha stage, not a finished game. There are more important issues, and they will address this eventually.

Add Zipper Sound To Player Opening Someone Else's Pack

I don't mind this idea. But I think it should occur ANY time a pack is opened. -

It's an incentive to carry the required medication :) -
Ridiculous camera shake levels -Tone it down

A possible outcome of being attacked is "pain" which manifests itself in heavy shaking, as you are describing. Painkillers are the cure for this. Given the recent changes to inventory management, 'take painkillers' doesn't show up as part of the middle mouse button menu. Try going into your inventory and taking some. Observe the difference :) -

Did you try taking painkillers? -
Add search bar to every forum page

Ironically enough, this was suggested elsewhere :P Nevertheless, I support it. -
You don't HAVE to run to elektro every time you spawn you know...

Find way to spawn together with friends same city
Leechman replied to [email protected]'s topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
Many people have suggested this before you. Try to use the search function before posting. Talking about realism is pointless, because you could argue the game away in such a fashion. What rocket is trying to create is an authentic experience. Starting alone and having to scavenge your way and then finding other survivors along the way is far more authentic than having a group of 5 guys all start next to each other so they can power down along the beach. -
rocket has stated he is firmly against microtransactions. Especially if, like some of your suggestions, they can give some players an advantage over others.
-
Gameplay-wise, it would add a lot. Coding wise, as I understand it, it would add one hot mess of problems.
-
As much as I'm excited for it too, it's really just side fluff. If it is ever going to be added in, I imagine it will be a long way down the track :(
-
Apologies if I misunderstood. I was going off of this statement:
-
I imagine it wouldn't take long before gunfights erupt over that unlikely Full House your opponent just got.

PLEASE slow the respawn rate of zombies - numbers are FINE :)

Demand was the wrong word. Apologies.

Yes it is entirely server specific. And there are issues, but they are completely related to servers (alpha issues) or player commitment. The server related issues will go with time as barricades become permanent, characters become bound to a single server etc. Player commitment stuff is entirely up to you, much like if you tried setting up such a place in a real-life scenario. You still already have the tools to create such a location. I see no need to demand the devs devote time to creating something that you already can do.
