Where did you spent those 3 hours? After spawn run straight into city, hit supermarket, all enterable houses, fire stations and if you're in cherno go to military tents.

Camo has about twice the spawn rate as ghillie so its more common. -

So wait, hoppers hop straight into barracks? Don't you need to approach building from distance for it to spawn loot? I have logged in in barns and houses countless times and they were always empty so whats the point jumping straight into barracks if they might be empty?

300m? No, I would say about 100m. But lets say you want to explore Airfield, use binocs from safe distance, if there is at least 1 zombie near hangars or tower then there is/used to be a player, but if its empty then its safe to go.

Run straight into a big city and first check supermarket and then any enterable houses around, also don't forget to check fire station since thats military and it spawns ak most of the time.

I agree on this too, even though I havent ever found Ghilie suit it should be less visible.

No, might be just something different with servers time. I get pitch black night times when its sunny outside on same time zone so just go to different server.

Yes, you can reduce texture size in order to get better fps.

1. Download the lastest beta patch and install. 2. Use Six updater to get newest mod version. 3. I preffer using Arma 2 game launcher because it's so simple and you don't need to worry about adding all those launch options (but you need to select right exes and dayz mod).

Update with Six updater and set launcher with Arma 2 launcher, its pretty easy.

What will happen when I login if I had hatchet in equipment slot before update? I dont want to get bugged or stuff and lose all my items...

Look, you WILL lose them either way, sooner or later, 1 unlucky hit and you are unconscious and being eaten or some guy will snipe you from 500m, so why to worry about your items? It's not like they are the only one in server, even if you die you will find other, maybe even better so I say just go and enjoy the game for what its made, surviving and scavening goods :) -
Guys, dont compare games who are GPU bound to arma which is heavy on CPU. Sure, when game is bound to gpu, processor almost doesnt matter as long as it has 2 cores (e.g BF3, same performance with either i7 extreme or i3) but in Arma, cpu plays a big role or at least bigger than graphics card.

I havent read all comments but I had trouble making it work together but I was shown easy way, use Six updater so download all files and Arma 2 launcher to select what options you want, its pretty easy and simple :) -
I had fps drop problem in few servers so just go to another but no, it just fixes the generic stuff not spawning.
