Zombie Behavioural activites - Attitudes - Speeds - Detection RangeThis is justa list of ideas that could affect zombie behaviour to make each zombie unpredictable. Attitudes - Each zombie should ahve a different "Attitude" the attitude affects their response to nearby zombies and players. Say for example, a young thug who was growing up in a poor neighborhood pre-outbreak will be violent towards certain infected based on their own "Attitudes" and weaknesses, strengths. Physical Differences - See the zombie in the tracksuit and running shoes? He's just another Zee, right? Wrong. Chances are he was an athlete before he was infected, he will sprint or leap better than the rest. See that nerd-looking skinny zombie with the glasses, pointy teeth, and "Space Invaders" T-shirt? He's not like the rest. His glasses are cracked and stained with blood, his eyes are deteriorating. He won't spot you as well as the others. Oh, look, a CDF Military zombie/Police Zombie. His armour isn't his only perk. His pre-outbreak training makes him harder to fight in melee. Me may use hi training to "deflect" some of your blows depending on weapon used. Oh, look at that fat-butt zambie hanging around the burger joint. He'll run slower but use his belly to suffocate you when he gets you in a corner. You've arrived at the (Coming Soon) Pruson in search of sanctuary. But the yards are filled with infected guards nd prisoners. Those prisoners look shifty...Better hope one's not hiding a bloody stained shiv...Each prisoner would be predictably violent, fast. Possibly the freshly infected ones may be holding shivs and other tools that they will use to kill you. The guard infected might carry the odd bloody baton. They would be similar to cops/military but slightly different. Zombie activities - Resting, drinking from ponds, vomiting, fighting over food, savagely killing any nearby infected who get in their way (Affected by attitudes) Thoughts? Yes we need text chat. I'm not buying a mic just for DayZ. If anything mic should be banned from walkie-talkies. Do you really want kids spamming music and making sex noises? or them screaming "YER ALL NEGGERS N FAGS BITCHIZ I OWND U @ COD" -
I don't know if it's possible but I personally think we need an attachment system for clothes. Just like with weapons. Say for example you have a leg holster, you can put that on your trousers' attachment slot which will give you an entirely new space to insert pistols. Or you could attach knee-pads, etc. Even putting Holsters and camelbacks on vests

Realistically, a zombie could grab a loose flap of clothing and rip it. Realistically you will get sick if in the rain for too long. Ban every kid even if they're actually not a complete dick? is u srs m8 :P. Go back to COD, kid. -

No. High-population servers are too KoS-filled right now. Sometimes I just wanna have some time to myself to experiment and have fun on my own not be thrust into a deathmatch. -

Nah...Highly immersion breaking....Invasion of privacy.... Why not just make it so SHIFT+TAB is disabled and you can't run the game while running other programs...Not sure if possible, and you could bypass it on a second comp or phone. But better than nothing.

Zombies are currently placeholder....On the last thing you mentioned; zombies can be outran easily, and you aren't running hard enough/losing their LoS if you're getting hit....And why do you call them "walkers"? they run like normal humans, not walk -
T-55s aren't used in Chernarus and you're be more likely to find the T-72 or BMP2

It'd be nice to see some better skins that have more than just blood/rashes and aren't just ripped from ArmA 3... I hope they are more intelligent and that individual zombies are considerable threats. I think the speed should be the same as it is now (realsitic determined violent running speed) but they should give up less and they need better attack animations. Just swiping you arms isn't going to do much damage. -
Hi all. Recently I was looking at pictures of the "Police" uniform for DayZ, not sure if it's already in yet, but, I feel as though it doesn't look that lore friendly...It looks more like Russian/Austrian police rather than the original Chernarussian police outfit. Russian helmets aren't actually used in Chernarus. The CDF use an older American variant if I'm correct it looks like that in ARMA 2 atleast
