As of now. The Infected in Day Zed are stupid, and hardly a threat at all. So I have an idea to maintain realism, while amping up these brain scrunchers. +Extreme Speed. Speed And Health Dependent On Area Of Spawn. Coastal Infected Are Faster And Healthier Due To Bambi Slaughter. Eastern Infected Are A Mix of Starving And Healthy. SW Infected Are Weaker Due To The Fact That Everyone Hates Kamenka And Dies By Suicide. Northern Zombies Are Very Weak Due To The Fact That Only Badass Dudes Make It Up North. Therefore, Said Badasses Can Survive Longer Example Of Coastal Zombies Where Most People Spawn Infected Attributes: Red Eyes. Let's Shit On 28 Days Later. Extremely Vocal. Refer To Video. Relentless Chases. Will Never Give Up The Hunt. May Kill Other Infected Over Food Or At Random. Extremely Dangerous At Night. Can Outrun The Player (Depending On Region, Regions With Well Fed Infected (E.g Spawn Areas) Will Be Faster. Will Sleep In Dark Areas. Appearing Dead At First Until Alerted. New idea: Map Sectors. Each area of the map is divided into a sector. Each sector's death by zombie ratio is monitored serverside (If possible). The larger the ratio, the more healthy and fast the zombies. Also they should be like the ones in the video

Just an idea. I feel it would be nice if there was a movie camera item as loot. It would require batteries. But you could tape it to a hat or your shoulder or something and record footage with it, and upload it to Steam. Maybe footage would be saved on a camera, so if someone found your camera, they could view the footage you recorded. Edit: I feel Rocket should incorporate the zombies-killing-other-zombies-that-get-in-the-way "bug" as a feature. Would make the zombies less generic and seem more vicious. T'would also mean that it's not guaranteed that there's a player nearby if you see riled zombies, as they could be fighting over food or arguing

Imho the infected shown in the dev vlogs are still looking like flustered old women. Make em' more like the ones in the vid and we'll get a real challenge.

That's not how it works in DayZ. It's more like the Rage Virus from 28 Days Later. Rage zombies are more realistic than undead. Players are also immune and there's no resurection
