Ok first of all explain this to me, Why on earth would you wash up on the beach with a hatchet? Secondly this is a survival game, if you spawn with stuff on you is pretty unrealistic, you are supposed to scavenge for supplies which is not hard at all. If you go to 1 barn you will more then likely find enough melee weapons or basic weapons for you and several friends. If you are new to the mod and don't know where stuff is read the basic tutorials, It took me literally 30 minutes to find out where good loot supplies and heavy player activity would be when I started out.

If you want to really play Dayz you can buy another copy of arma. If not then back to COD with you!

They can also spawn in the barracks. -
Add in a safe zone where weapons are holstered

Problem is there will always be a sniper outside the point of holstering ready to shoot anyone that goes there. -
I found 1 downed chopper in 3 months of playing. Was really excited and started cralling to it, I even threw a smoke to distract the zeds to make sure Id be able to get all the loot without worries. Get about 5 feet away from the 1st loot (it was an M249) and got kicked by battleye for ping. :(

Sometimes the server can't load the loot fast enough so if for instance you go to hanger in balota 1 hanger might have 3 loot piles spawned while the other might only have 1. If so just leave the area and wait a couple minutes and go back.

I could not really tell the what the count was on the pick, It looked to me like 1500 which is not hacked. There can be that many zombies on a server if enough people are by towns and other buildings spawning them.
