As far as I know, everytime I kill a bandit it takes up to 1 ~ 2 minutes and the body disappears .-. Btw please send the video -
First: I would shit my pants if I saw a zombie kid walking in the middle of the night. Second: I think some countries, as mentioned, wouldn't like this idea and some people wouldn't be able to play the game. Third: People could refuse to kill the children, because, well... I wouldn't feel good killing kids either All I can imagine by killing a zombie kid in DayZ is my character hitting the head of the baby-Z with a baseball bat and the head flying and hitting a dude at the other side of the map. 4th gen i5 4200U 2.8GHz AMD Radeon HD8850M 6GB RAM optimization in the game. A LOT of people can run BF4 on ultra with 60+ FPS and get 30 ~ 50 FPS in DayZ because the game is not fully optimized yet.

I play with a notebook and I get 60+ fps in the woods with Normal settings, and 40+ fps in cities. Please have in mind that the optimization is not really good right now

Rocket says there will be 10.000 zombies. There aren't even 4000 yet... I think there are only 1500 or so. with 10.000 in a server, oh my friend, you will suffer... -

Well now I got sick of the game... I had a M4, A LOT of bullets, a pistol with A LOT of ammo, FOOD AND DRINK FOR DAYS, the BEST backpack in the game, Tac Vest, I had everything. Then a freshspawn comes and punches me in the face and BANG, I'm unconscious, and the guy takes EVERYTHING I had. I was even full on blood! WHAT - THE - FUCK ??? I don't usually get angry because of games but holy shit, this was REEEALLY frustrating. You spend hours in a game just to get all that and a fresh spawn with nothing but his hands comes and kills you? I mean, what the fuck Dean? O.o

Nop, I was at a random building :p And guys, no, I was not sick, thirsty or anything. At least my character wasn't complaining and the indicators were not showing up in the inventory =/

This is just to know your personal opinion. In mine, it is, compared to the mod (where zombies were same as nothing). At least before you get your first good melee weapon, zombies look pretty dangerous. One single zombie can take the hell out of you if all you can use to defend yourself are your bare hands. Two zombies and you're dead. They also have a way better AI... Viewing the Standalone videos before the release I was thinking they were weak, but when I played it and faced a zombie with my fists, it hurt a lot... So what do you guys think about it? Am I just a noob at punching zombies or are they definetly more dangerous than the modded ones? I personally think Rocket and his team did a great job in this aspect.

Don't you understand? THE GUY HAD JUST SPAWNED. I DIDN'T EVEN SEE HIM. All I saw was the last 2 seconds when he punched me. And I was trying to find my friend at the coast. I wouldn't waste my ammo in fresh spawns..

Wow you definetly are doing something wrong. Things you should do so you won't get sick: - > Be careful with medical stuff. Don't swallow anything that you don't need to, and about blood transfusions, be REALLY careful about bloodtypes. - > Always try to clean your rags and bandages if you found them on the floor. There are disinfectants. - > Try to clean your water with a purifier everytime. - > Never fight a zombie while hungry, your immunity will be very low. Although I think you're just unlucky because I only got sick one time because I used antibiotics without being sick. So I used more antibiotics and BANG, I was cured of my antibiotic sickness. Kinda confusing but you can do it. -

Rocket wants the game to be realistic (and I believe that at least 80% of the players want this too, after all it is a survival game), and in real life you wouldn't be able to say something that the whole world could hear. That's why there's no sidechat, I guess. I won't make walls of text so I'll just say that what Rocket did to take all the communication thing away, is probably what makes me shake and get nervous everytime I see someone out of nowhere. It makes me realize I'm in a hard situation to deal with, because it is a gamble: is he a bandit? will he kill me? or will he help me? THIS is DayZ, the paranoia, it is necessary to the game. So, concluding, I don't think there is anything wrong to the communication changes at all.
