Wow in the mod when you see any kind of light source in the distance, the sensation of fear is just awesome. I still remember the mod roadflares in Chernogorsk, they used to build the atmosphere really nice. Not to mention the fireplaces, I REALLY want them to put the fireplaces in the game as soon as possible. Same with the flares and chemlights. Oh and I'd enjoy trying out your ArmA 3 map, meshcarver :thumbsup: About the slender thing, yes, it is often present in DayZ night time. It's a good fear, though.

Yeah this sounds like a true fix. Actually I think there are tons of ways to fix this issue, but I can't figure one that at least looks easy to do and saves time for the other alpher stuff

Thanks for the beans and for the feedback guys (: This is something I think they are going to work in, my suggestion would be taking out the option of changing gamma in options. Also making it so you can't disable clouds. :huh: Still, there are sometimes at night where it is so so dark that you can't see even with all these black n' white nightvision goggles thing. You'll need a flashlight at some point :P

Well there was this time where I got sick by ingesting antibiotics without being sick. To get better from the sickness, I ingested antibiotics again, and the sickness was gone. Logics!

Ingest anything that can make you sick, and shoot a bit. If you don't die from being sick, zombies or players will hear you shots and kill you. Or just die from dehydration...

Maybe it would instantly kill players; but hey, you can use a gun too...

I find players and enter in stories the atmosphere creates for us. "This is your story"

They've just updated the map with the loot spots. A week ago it was just the map itself. I think everyone who played the mod knows it too, at least it was pretty useful for me back in those days

I know, I've lost SO many ammo because of these bugs. All we can do is wait for beta :thumbsup:

I think I would try it once and then never again, because I think it'll be loud as f*ck and the main reason I use melees is to be stealthy. So searching for gas would be useless anyway since you can have fireaxes and such.

From what I've heard, the zombie count in each server right now is something like 1500 or so. Their goal is to reach 10.000 on each server. AND hordes.

This is one of the main things I want them to fix. So annoying to not find anything in 10 towns around... It encourages you to server hop, but I'm too lazy to press 'Esc', click the Exit button and select a good server .-.
