Not really...the game is just unoptimized. The reality is that the game, right now, runs "better" in Cpus with good single-core perfomance (it only uses the first 2 cores). Thats why it performs "better" with Intel Cpus than AMD Cpus. Even people with good (and i mean very good) rigs gets some (if not a lot of) fps drops in cities.

Untrue...last stable patch was the 3 weeks and a couple of days more... Last experiemntal patch was the 21th of may(1 week ago) Stop right there... theres your problem...you said it yourself... Optimization comes in Beta... Thats a nice pc(way better than mine) yet no optimization was made so... RV is CPU-hungry and it performs better if you have a great single core perfomance(as far as i know), having multiple cores doesnt improve fps YET. AMD users have this problem BUT multicore support is coming... Untrue again...BIS still optimizes/update ARMA 2 and ARMA 3... -

Thats your problem. Neither you or I(or many forum memvers) understand what its really easy in development. "Why there are no vehicles/bikes...surely it should be easy to do..." "Why there are no private hive already... should be easy to do..." This kind of post(and threads) has been around since January... They are focused into developt the game...different teams with different jobs. What can the 3D designer team do but to make designs for new items? They cannot help in any other area/aspect of the game... Adding new items does not slow development(different team)...some aspects of the game just take more time to get through than others. Anyway i get it, Gun damage is kinda odd in the game at this moment...players says that a gun is worthless but to other players that doesnt happen nor they think the same, like they shotgun(to some a PoS, to others a lifesaver). In the case of the Hotbar, it is a know issue. Sometimes works, sometimes it doesnt. When i have that problem i usually drag the wepons of the main inventroy screen...it takes more time but that method never failed me If you like make a ticket in the bug reporter and wait, thats pretty much the only thing we can do atm... Have fun... -
Hi there... Optimization in Beta...but like Nex said, things over here and there, to keep the game as stable as it can... Right now is mostly Server-side oprimization(i heard). There´s no need to be rude, my friend. He asked a question in a polite way...

Are melee weapons supposed to do no damage or are zombies just very resistant?

Last patch messed the zombies... Aim to the head, and use stabbing weapons or machetes and such(1H weapons), its easier... Melee damaged is fixed in Experimental... -
Well...since Epoch and 2017 for Arma III is coming, i dont think they just gonna drop all the work they are doing to make the same mods for SA... Still...i hope we getsome cool maps and other features...
