Uhhm, so which weapons is the semi here? Dude, you have no clue. The "sinking into the ground" feature of A2 and A3 work terribly, and an alternative should be considered. Somebody suggested modifying the persons alpha coverage at longer distances, I have yet to see this beeing implemented

Exept for the Utes part that seems interesting! Utes should not be visible from the shore, and only be accesible via heli/plane or boat. It'd have to be atlease one or two miles off the coast EDIT : Oh, and VR doesn't really support rivers, and the way you drew them they didn't really make sense anyways... :D

Well, one thing that many of you guys seem to forget : Optimization is not just some magic that you generate with time. Optimizing means that you increase efficency. Once you hit a certain point (say 90 to 99%) you can't go any further. It's just the amount of work the CPU/GPU needs to do to render a frame. Now before you all go crazy ;) I'm not saying DayZ/the RV engine is as optmized as it gets! But it is much further than most seem to think. As for that "magic" bottleneck, pushing your frames down while CPU and GPU are in the 40% range. Guess who is going full speed, but still bottlenecking you? RAM! By increasing your memory brandwith, the CPU/GPU get feed with data quicker, and have to idle less imbetween frames before the next data piece comes in. Increasing memory brandwith will give you higher CPU/GPU usage and therefor better FPS. Or you get bad FPS because the server you are playing on has bad performance, and that will drag you down.

Facepalm. You haven't grasped anything about DayZ, nothing at all. You only bought this because it said "Zombies" and was 30 bucks right?

Well aparently not? 30 minutes might be a bit hard, but 15 minutes isn't too long of a wait, yet it should stop you from suiciding. When I personally die, I take a short break anyways, so I wouldn't notice a 15 min timer....

Similar yes. DayZ is a bit tougher for the hardware, but basically yes. What quality presets did you run? The visibility in the SA is 3+ clicks. If you run 4 clicks fine in ARMA:OA you should be fine. High pop servers and cherno/elektro will still bring your fps down though.

Might be a bad server... I too had desync with a 19 Ping, but that's the exeption
