I wholeheartedly agree, the hotbar is hideous. Yet, how would you go about it? I personally don't really see any other option, unless you want to go in the inventory everytime you want to check your compass?
-
What do you mean, troll? Anyways, the best way to get you char back to life is to either buy a new PC so that the PC doesn't know that the character is dead, or check with WarZ aka ISS. Sometimes charakters go there after death. Maybe they can bring him back.

That aside, I am so glad I clicked on the link in your signature. (Some) faith in dayz community restored

Uhmm, not that I wan't to break your bubble or something, the SA is months if not YEARS away. The only thing "just around the corner" is the SA-ALPHA, and you can expect dying for no reason, gliches, bandages or transfusions not working. Taking random damage from stairs, hills or other objects. That's why we call it an alpha.
-
Sorry bro, that's not the way it works here. Your character dies, he's dead. No one can change that. May I suggest watching some youtube tutorials about DayZ?

"shitty" fps, 20 - 40 -
Besides the marvelous ass, i dunno man. Noobish pilot. Lighting up an unarmed littlebird. "getting kills" Have you considered playing arma? It's a lotta fun. But I don't think this kind of behaviour has a place in dayz.

I love the video! especially the warning :D

Translation - There was a small trip, walked in Zelenogorsk and dressed up. I found knife and jacket, and the guy - screwdriver. *I'm in red cap :)* WANT
-
TBH, that's probably not top priority atm.... I'd be a nice addition but there are tons of things that are more important

Yay! mercedes! German cars ftw! ;) I'm pretty sure 90% of all grownups have a license.... in 'murica you can start learning how to drive at the age of 15! But it's kinda like flying a chopper.. gotta know your stuff, that's right.

I'm too tired to read the whole thing, but I'm sure it's a good one! Cheers mate -
Close quarters with buggy zombies => DEATH! :D That kinda crap happens faster that you might think though.

Private Evans kinda has a point :D I like your way of storytelling, keep em coming! -
What enforcer said :D Also I don't consider a large truck a millitary vehicle as it doesn't really differ from a civil truck (exept for the ruggedness and offroading maybe)
-
He has a suboptimal system, but hey, i run 20 to 40 fps with a q8200 @ 2.33 and ddr2 ram (4GB @ 800mHz). I will upgrade too though ;)
-
I'd propose the opposite. millitary vehicles would be automatics, so that the soldiers can focus and are not distracted by clutching. whereas civies drive manual. I still want all vehicles manual though ;)

I'll make this my final statement in this thread, as we are all just arguing about a point we all agree on, and that is that hax ruin dayz. Myself and apparently some others were not particularly happy about some community members using scripts to alter their weapon behaviour as this is what hackers usually do, even if they just wanted to make an understandable point. I do certainly not distrust musty gaming because of a video that has a message which I totally agree with. (Hax ruin DayZ). Yet the rage and the harsh comments and offenses agains some users, as they occur in a heated debate are another story. Weparo out PS: As a matter of fact I do. It is total bullshit that two guys can take out a whole army without even getting a scratch. Which doesn't mean I didn't enjoy them. But there are better movies. Movies where the guy makes a very detailled and functional plan, using weak spots of the enemies defense. But that's not relevant now I suppose.
-
Yes, I saw that too. Yet they had an unfair advantage and broke rules. which according to the article makes them cheaters. Just because one criteria doesn't meet doesn't mean the rest does too.
-
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheating In this case the goal is to put 150 round in a guy. The unmoral advantage is to not beeing limited to magazine size and ammo count. Rules: M9 has a 15 round mag. the guy in the vid didn't. => Rule breaking => cheat.
-
OK, let me redefine. You are not a cheater. certainly not a hacker (no sarcasm intended). Then let me tell you what I don't approve of. YOUR M9 HAVING 150+ ROUNDS WHEN IT IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE 15. And you scripted around that. And that's my problem. you not sticking to the fact that the average m9 mag has 15 rounds. and that what I don't like. Wether you call that a script, a cheat or a hack, i don't care. The problem is you m9 having more than 15 rounds
-
YES! YES! that is just what i said! hence I said : scripts can be a cheat. CAN BE. IT DEPENDS ON HOW YOU USE THEM. And I feel that in this video the unlimited ammo script is a cheat because you are supposed to have 15 rounds in the magazine. with the script you have unlimited. -> cheat
