Knew there'd be something like this.. The extra $120 for the i7 could be put in a better graphics card yielding much more. It's a budget system. OBVIOUSLY it's not a super duper cool extreme fast computer. But it's a gaming computer you can have for cheap. 4GB is NOT bottleneck, I rarely use more than 3GB. Windows 8 idle only uses 12% roughly 450MB. Limits the graphic card? The system has a GTX 460 LOL. I have a 500w with my i5 & 7950 right now. Cooling? Get a decent fan down the road if you need it. But I have one cheapass case, just took off the side panel & the max I run with a stock i5 cooler is 58C... People go way overboard with their systems in my opinion.

You'll find most of the advice you can use in the DayZ wiki. But check out the link in my sig. I might have some other useful advice.

I've laid down huge camp sites with my bus at one point. Plenty of reasons to do it. #1 - You cripple enemy morale. Believe it or not, it's huge. It effects how they play, whether they leave the server or not, etc. #2 - If they do stay, they have less equipment. Pretty self explainable. Less chance of you dying, you lower threat levels for everyone. #3 - It's more time they have to spend to reconstruct = more time for you to gather and damage them more. #4 - It's fun.

Just shot at [TRB] K3nny right in the face at Elektro in a DE Server. He disconnected even though he shouldn't have lived the shot. They're on my shit list. I found this by googling his name.

I hope in the standalone they come out with a system like this: You can create sort of a backstory for your character, and you can select what you spawn with. Now you can't just spawn with everything.. Certain items cost points, like lets say you start with 100 points. A can of beans costs 20, a Pistol without ammo is 100. A flashlight is 50. Painkillers is 15. Etc. Kind of like that. So everytime you spawn, you spawn with the items you selected in the 'Spawn Selection Screen' or something like that. I know people at first wont probably like it. Just an idea, I guess.
