There was a "This gun sucks" thread reguarding the Blaze double rifle, that was all down to lag because noone died even when both parties basically emptied their mags the OP was whining about a gun that has insane bust DPS when correctly used -
Well, conider this maybe DayZ has the loot table to favour spawning food items to help playtest the features in the game? Like, Long searches for helecopter crashsites to test out deliberatly rare items?

The only counters to this that I can see is that they food must look like it has been tampered with to an extent, Like a small hole where someone jabbed a needle inside or a small cut in the side of a can, Or apply it to food that has already been opened. AND this kinda stuff has to be RARE, Or cost a small fortune in supplies and danger from self-testing to see if the final product works As rags said Poison is only to cause harm able to used indiscriminatingly against anyone so make it a bitch to obtain.

The only time A weapons dissapeared on me was near electro at the time, It was a Magnum and if I where to keep it I would have probably not have been killed by some really well-equipped bandits seconds later I felt terribad after that happening too -
The problem is if people say they are friendly then they are either 1: In trouble, Like the time I bumped into someone with an empty AK in a military prison 2: Just waiting to stab you in the back, Or run up to you with a bike helmet and hatchet and knock you the fuck out 3: Going to flat-out murder you 4: going to hold you up (and sometimes kill you) 5: Actually friendly and willing to work together to an extent

Are we really going to see a weapon the devteam has been hinting at or are we just getting sh*t on by the trickster devs?, If yes what kinda ammo will it chamber and what kinda gun stats will it have?

Arma 2 works fine but DayZ SA lags like hell

First off: It's early access so you should have expected this. Second: The DayZ standalone engine is basically a whole new variation of the ARMA engine but is still finished. Third: Noone's PC will run DayZ Maximum settings at 60FPS, Unless you sunk a LOT of money into an OVERKILL pc rig. -
Not to mention that the AUG and M4A1 share the same sounds

Looking at what the Winchester is able to fire I think they will use the .30-06 if they are also going to add the M1 garand in the future

The Blaze double is a very niche rifle, It was only meant for sniping and general situation where you have the drop on someone else Also it sounds like you where lagging too, Maybe that was the whole reason you are complaining.

How I see the AK family going AKM, Heavy and heavier hitting, innacurate over 300 to 400 metres and somewhat common, accepts the PSO 1 AK74, Slightly less heavy than the AKM and a slight (but noticable) accuracy and recoil inprovment alongside faster bullet travel time, accepts all AK attachments AK47U, lighter and easier to carry than the normal 74 but has the same recoil and accuracy of the AKM, can only accept the PSO 1 and buttstock attachments AK101, As light as the 74 and and has overall better stats over the other AKs but with a slight damage nerf, Accepts everything and is only found at crashsites

To answer your question there has been improvments but there are bugs always replacing old ones that have been fixed Personally I feel that the majority of complainers may have finally shut up now they are getting what the devteam have added over the past year. But I would get it now for the discount and wait until it enters beta.

Phones, Pepper Spray, Tear Gas, Wallets, Belts, Hip Flasks

My review on the items on the post Phones: even if making calls are in the past these are actually a decent idea, have 'em spawn semi-commonly Pepper spray: Awesome! should spawn at police stations only, These should be semi-rare Lighter: All for this one, the possibilities are limitless! Hip flask: Common, Should carry a small amount of liquid but overall agreeable choice Belt: trousers (pants) should have a 75% chance to spawn with a belt and should come in both civilian and military variants. Tear gas: Rarer than Pepper spray, Should be a common to rare helecopter crashsite item Overall, The devteam really should consider at least a few of these ideas if they aint already -
Honestly the American crash site is probably the one to loot post update, It spawns the Steyr AUG if it is any good :-/
