Give me a DMR So there are loads of guns to choose from in DAYZ, but “give me a DMR” and I can take on anyone, close range or from a distance (sniping). I personally think the DMR is too over powered. If you get in a close combat situation, all that is needed is to point your gun in the targets location, tap vigorously on your mouse button, and bam your target is neutralised. Yes this might be difficult the first few times but after you have mastered this technique, nobody will stand in your way. I would personally take my DMR over any other close range assault rifle. The auto reload on the DMR makes this weapon as efficient as assault rifles at close range, if not more (the damage output on a DMR is almost double that of any assault rifle). My question is, would this be possible in real life? No I don’t think so. My suggestion is to bring back all the OP sniper rifles that were removed, but maybe to make them single shot bolt-action sniper rifles, so there is a reloading period of at least 2 or 3 seconds between rounds, like in real life. If I am not mistaken any sniper in real life has got a range finder with him, no not the range finder gadget, but rather a real person with assault rifle protecting his sniper and helping him with range. I do think this concept should be followed in DAYZ. If you want to go snipe in dangerous places and you don’t want to risk losing your sniper rifle, take support with. Would love to hear your guys thoughts on this.

yes i agree Hellsing. Normal players gear run in major citys or try and go back to their bodys. These hackers are never killed in major city’s like Electro or cherno anymore as they just run back to their stash and re gear with all the best they died with. Give them an hour and they at the same spot with the same gear.

i would love to see kills on a gun. Let’s say you pick up gun from a dead body. You can actually see the amounts of kills with that gun. Maybe the more kills the guns has the less recoil it has just by being shot in?

hackers are still all over. they mostly duplicate items these days. look for people with the following error. not sure what it reads but it is something like this Player ##### has lost connection Player #### was kicked by battleeye bla bla (connection lost) Will have a look tonight on our server and correct the message above.

DMR snipping is just too easy. I mean think of it. A real sniper has a range finder with him. No not the tool an actual guy that supports him. DAYZ SA should adapt this concept. At the moment a single sniper with a DMR just aims in the direction of his foe in close combat, and taps the shit out of his mouse button and kills the enemy with no effort. Maybe a solution to all of this is single shot bolt action rifles only, where you actually take some time reloading every shot. The auto reload and shooting of sniping rifles are just to OP in the game. I loved your suggestions by DooM599

Hi Guys So last night me and my mates manage to get a Jeep and all 7 of us traveled around inland looking for crash sites (side note never travel with more than 2/3 people in a car with full gear). Few minutes in we got ambushed by 5 players in a Jeep standing in the middle of the road. They managed to shoot 2 of our players out of the car and the rest of us were taking cover behind the car. We managted to kille 2 of them and the others combat logged as they dissapeared of the grid. Now we lost 3 players with night vision, silenced main guns, dmr's on them and blood bags with antibiotics. I am really upset as we could have had a full out war and fight it out until one man or a few of us were left standing, but the combat logging prevented that. I suggest the following and i am sure topics have been raised in the past about this. Why don’t they make it if you ctrl, alt and delete out of the game, or some event had to happen where your game crashed that your body stays in the game for 2min. I am sick and tired of people spoiling the gameplay it is intended for, and yes i am willing to sacrifice my gear if this had to happen to me. What is your suggestions?

well atleast give a system that reports players leaving the server so you can get the names and report them to get banned.

well guys thanks for the feedback, i do hope the SA will be awesome in every way. I just hope they dont spoil the factors that made the mod such a hit in the first place.

stop complaining about infection and go play arcade games. maybe COD is a better game for you.

all to his own. but i think the more difficult they make the game, the more players you will attract. I don’t want to play an ARCADE game that is why i play DAYZ. If you want it easy join a noob server with crosshairs on, map, gun and bullets already in your backpack and stop people from exploring around towns. Loot is everywhere, and kicking yourself in the nuts because you didn’t run away from that infected body is your own fault. Please let’s not make a ARCADE game and rather stick to what makes the game work. Survive, survive, survive.
