I Think that launching on 20+ August is A HUGE mistake. There was an interview in witch rocket estimated that vehicles will come in September so, it is obvious that you can't redo vehicles in 15-25 days. On the other hand launching early would be a disaster but I would like to believe that we are not on the early stage anymore. I know this is a complete remake of an already existing mod but a year of development (even by a very small group of developers) is enough for the poor Alpha stage. I wish only ONE thing and I expect only one thing from this developer blog, Accuracy about the launch date and the progress they have done. After 3 months without official information I (And all honest gamers I know, The true fans not the passive consumers) want something more than an average playthrough. Sorry for the big post.Feel free to hate or like my opinion.

This is the END of the month were is the Developer Blog??? :D :D We will get it on Friday right? haha from a nice week they picked the last day xD

I think that people would team up to kill each other because the sence of teamwork justifies the actions. But before this, people would kill the new enemy, zombies, once they would clear the earth from zombies they would fight for power. I think that this is the reason we all play Dayz, we like to get away from reality with the idea of an apocalypse and believe me As a bandit I know why and when I kill other players that every single reaction that makes me shoot them is a real player-real time reaction. I kill every threat, for example: I wouldnt kill an unarmed player running in cherno but I would definitely kill an unarmed player hiding near a military loot! That's my in-game reaction and I think that would be the real life reaction because you can't take the risk. Bandits are players that don't take risks but a good Bandit would never kill everyone (like most of them do). A good bandit is eliminating threats not posibilities! P.S We are completely off topic :D DEAN Release the Devblog or the forums will become a surviving university!

@Wolfensteinsaurus I used red letters because I CAN! Just kidding xD I had a little problem with the editor and I couldnt make my letters readable.

We all know we are going to be hundreds of thousands of people in The Alpha! :D Let's face it 1,7 million own dayz and AT LEAST the half of them want a new repaired version of this high quality game!

I hope in this devblog AT LEAST we will get an estimated release date because after ALL this anticipation WE DESERVE it. I am really glad he will find time for us and I feel very thankful about it I just don't want to hear "WE are at a good stage, now the Alpha will come soon no release date yet etc.". SO with all the respect I have for you Dean PLEASE after one year of waiting (and you were working so HARD for this one) be specific and accurate for the launch. Say it is coming on Christmas I don't care, I will understand just don't say we don't have a release date. Thanks for this developer blog and I hope this will be the last before Alpha launch!

The only developer that actually interacts with the community! Thank you for giving us information and I hope we will be able to play soon! Just please release on August :D 1 year after the announcement is the best for the anticipation monsters that wait since then. I hope I will hear something like "we are going to launch next week" but I can keep dreaming..... Good Job and KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! :thumbsup:

@Victus Mortuus They can't even understand that simple fact! Every single "clever" guy is saying to kids that they shouldn't cry while saying the Alpha is going to be perfect haha I mean how stupid is that? The Alpha stage is unstable and full of problems! If they can't understand that one they shouldn't criticise other people for their justified lack of anticipation because they are just as (if not more) immature.

That's what I thought BUT this information can't be 100% imaginary I mean I read EVERYTHING EVERY POST but I never actually saw anything about this. When the release date questions have no answer this probably fake side of the truth could be real.

The funny fact is that this forum will be instantly abandoned with the launch hahaha.The exact moment that we will see it on Steam this topic will become history for the next generations......

@Very Ape your name expresses my opinion about your ''clever'' sarcasm. There was no reason to be offensive and I think you know nothing about the game at all so congratulations you are the perfect passive consumer every developer wants. I really hope there aren't many guys that will support a dev like fanboys by attacking people.

Guys I hope there is a Launch this week (or the next one) because my patience is dying. I am really disappointed about the lack of news and information and I can't wait for a game with no reported progress for a big amount of time (2 months since Devblog, 1 month since E3 and 14 days since Developer comments). At least I would appreciate a status update this week because Its JULY and I am waiting since September so I really hope that the lack of news means focus on work and developing! I really hope they will understand that we can't wait for a game for a huge amount of time without having high expectations due to the time they have to develop it. :D Feel free to like or hate my anticipation level ;)

Now that there are 90% more enterable buildings there will be a huge amount of fights in the buildings OR someone can shoot while covering from windows. I thik that is Awesome because when you enter chero for example you have to watch the windows , buildings are the BEST for snipers an a great cover for unarmed so the pvp is going to change a lot. There will be moments that you are in a building and bandits are around so this is awesome.
