The SMLE or enfield as it is know does actually have a detachable magazine. The thing about the enfield though is that it can be loaded several ways: One in the chamber, single loading into the magazine, stripper clips (needs two containing 5rds each iirc) and individual loaded mags.

I needs a scope IMO and no .50 cals should be in the game. Russian equivalents i will except.

There is a reason that every time i make a suggestion on weapons that revolvers are on the top of my list, also i have suggested a cowboy hat (Stetson) once or twice. But Duels will be spur of the moment and "Do you think you can reload and fire before i put a hole in your chest" type situations. And yes i basically stole the line above from the first season of Justified.

I reckon my pistol would be used more if i could holster and quick draw. I would love to see this in the game.

Remember that 5.56 is around half a cm, or 1/5th of an inch for you non metric guys, and is one of the lowest caliber (in diameter) which is used by any military and is usually regulated for shooting bunnies/rabbits/paper in the recreational shooting world (remembering that they always go for a 1HK, not headshot). 9.3 is closer to 1cm wide or about 2/5ths of an inch and is actually smaller in diameter in 40SW or 45acp.

Cigs are also a big give away out field. IIRC alot of Americans were killed when they stepped outside their tents to have a fag in Vietnam by snipers. Also IIRC the Aussies just smoked inside.

It is already the subject of a couple of non-DayZ mods. I don't see why they can't port it in to this or maybe the next update/hotfix.

On this, I think the quick switch type system that is coming in for 1.8 should stay but there should be a "Holster/Sling" button and the button should (un)holster/sling the weapon that is in your hands or was in your hands. This should allow me to do something i have wanted to do for a while, dueling.

If you add a pleasure meter then there has to be a way to do the "five knuckle shuffle" or fap if you so desire.

Unrealistic, I made a massive post on all the firearms in the OP's post on the 2nd page about why they shouldn't be in the game except the flare gun, uzi and a semiauto version of the CZ75.

The main problem with this is the actual fact that using foliage is not a very good idea. Think about this, you pluck a piece of grass, eventually it will wither and yellow, same for a branch, eventually the leaves turn brown and fall off. This is why every army in existence that even teaches stealth in bush or jungle tells you that this is a bad idea. This is compounded by the fact that if you go into an area with different foliage then you have to change it, leaving the old foliage with no where to go except the ground and when you pick said foliage you leave a relatively large patch of bush where the foliage has been almost stripped clean (because you usually need a lot). This means you can be tracked or your presence may be noticed. Which means you get you and anyone with you killed. Just think about why ghillie suits were invented, to disguise a person's shape and make them look like the background without giving them away. It would be pretty stupid to invent the ghillie if it was that easy to camo yourself with the foliage around you without the problems above.

Britain and other commonwealth nations use/used it. But Britain has moved to the Glock 17/19 and i have no idea what Canada is up to (the only commonwealth nations that i know of other than Australia).
