This, a ping of 800 (seriously, not a typo) means that doing anything that takes 5-6 steps a pain in the ass.

Spawned at balota, heard what i thought was a gunshot, heard a zombie. Scored some various firearm parts and a shovel along with various rotten fruit and a water bottle. Almost died of dehydration and survived. EDIT: Died a couple of times, made it back to balota and found an M4 and 30rds, but no mags. Lagged like f*ck and got shot by some random who didn't even say hi. Found out i have an average ping of 800, lol!

Downloaded the experimental update from steam and i am about to restart my comp so i can try this sucker out for the first time.

I heard that the 357 and speed loaders are in the experimental servers and that you can still log into normal servers with the experimental update, so i went f*ck it and clicked yes in steam for the experemental update. Will update this thread with more pics if i find one.

I think he is taking the talk about how admins could apparently spawn in stuff and so on in the mod and Arma 2, and is basically demanding to be informed on whether or not this is still happening. Almost like he thinks that if Admins can change the name of the server then they can use admin tools like in the mod [apparently]. EDIT: It also seems like he thinks that only the devs and staff should have the right to ban people, not the people who have paid good money to have these servers. Thank god that i can understand the language of the nonsensical and idiotic.

Downloaded and installed it. I will hopefully get some time to play it a bit later or next year (4hrs till new years!).

You do know that the most common desert eagles are in 357 and 44 magnum, right? and the 50 action express round that the 50 cal degal uses is just a 44 mag widened to fit the .50 cal bullet? No real noticeable difference in power from the 357 and 44 mag variants, and you'd be better off with a 44 instead of a 50 because of ammo cost and availability. Also, deagles stovepipe like a bitch if you don't use them right. Most common problem with 'em, according to the many aussie shooters who have one and the rest of the internet. I'd rather have a peacemaker than a deagle.

I know you guys said to try and find you for some meds, in a different thread, if needed but this sh*t just makes me want to stay away. I'm genre savvy enough and have played the mod enough to know that this is a seriously bad sign. BTW do nut shots do anything different compared to say a stomach shot? any weapon at all. You seem like you would have tested that.

Why not have the NO DC ZONE script only activate if the exit button is pressed and not if you crash/internet DCs. It shouldn't be that hard, and who is going to bother to wait the 5mins (i'm just putting a random number on it here) it takes to restart the game and then the extra time to log into a new server, just to swap a server? Should stop the problem, unless it doesn't work that way. I seriously doubt that it doesn't work that way. EDIT: also 10mins for a disconnect timer is far, far too long. That sh*t would seriously cut into my possible game time (I could only play 50mins instead of 58-59 mins when i have only 1 hour to play) and what happens if someone comes in, i'm pretty sure that you can't voice chat in the pause menu. That would sh*t people right off, possibly leading to more KOS for no reason other than the guy walked into a room he had no idea that someone was in.

I also purchased this, at least what i hope it is, epic game. First point of call will be looting the f*ck out of all the new buildings, then visiting NWAF (a place i have only visited once, and that is not a typo) the enjoying the f*ck out of this magnificentness of a game. EDIT: and find a 357 as soon as they are patched in. I f*cking want that sh*t so bad. Edit 2: WOOT Download finished!

I'm pretty sure the magnum should be number one as rocket specifically said that is will be added soon, and it is apparently in use in the experimental server.

I found this video online where a guy is play a game called reciever [i like it, single player only but now is not the time to tell you all about it] with the occulus rift device that rocket seems to be infatuated with and something called "HydraDeck" controls, which i assume is the joystick in his hand. Does anyone know if DayZ could support this? Does anyone else thing that it should support this?
