You can store mags in an ammo box now?

We aussies usually have the sense to stay away from dangerous things (unless you are named Steve Irwin). However (especially on low pop servers) sometimes almost everyone on the server does this leading to this. Other times, everyone is there and you end up getting chased by someone with an axe while you try and pull a pistol at full sprint.

All these claims that Zoom is better than a scope are bull, and i have photo proof. FOV in these pics is the default. Standard, non zoomed Zoomed. PU scope. There is a noticeable increase in zoom for the PU over the zoom.

Is the SKS even in yet? i've never seen it.

I got kinda pissed when i found out that a couple of boxes of ammo were 556 and not 762, only seen 762 in boxes before. Almost lost this guy when the server bugged out (got a red chain, thought my internet f*cked up so i just exited). Thankfully he came back.

Yep, i even told some guy he was a dick for hitting me with a axe when i was just walking down the street. He basically went on a rant about how Elektro was a fight town.

The only time i found a mosin in a mil base was when i was looking around and it had a PU, bipod and was loaded. That definitely meant it was dropped by a player as no weapon spawns with random attachments and ammo yet. Cars, Barns, Red brick buildings with the archway to one door and Schools are your best bet for a mosin, ammo is found in mil spawns though along with attachments.

On the water logging of weapons. I'm pretty sure that you can leave a mosin, revolver or fnx (maybe even the M4) in the bottom of a tub of water for a month and all that will happen is that they will needed to be oiled (but not a problem so far as weapon maintenance isn't in yet) and the mosin might have a change in the point of impact due to the stock swelling from the water and the magnum's grips might degrade a bit but that is it, so far.

How's my reaction to fire? taken from something that happened 10 mins ago. Bear in mind that my ping was over 800 at this point so any shots i fired would take a while to hit the target. Long enough for them to run 10m and axe my face off (had that happen before). Combing a building, finally managed to get a healthy status and decent gear. Go down stairs and see a guy with a mosin out. First thing i try is to get my magnum (already out) up so i can fire on him, that doesn't happen because he puts a round into the floor so i just sprint out of the building as another round goes into a wall via his mosin. I immediately look for cover while running full out, i crouch behind a dumpster as a third round if fired. I bring my magnum up, i haven't seen him since i left the building except for a muzzle flash from when i get to the dumpster, so i guess where i saw the flash and fire 3 rounds to suppress. After that i fall back behind a building and then some trees. After seeing no sign of him i top up my magnum and jog towards another building. i loot it and 5mins later i log as i have to do something. No vid, as i forgot to start Dxtory. Good? bad? definitely could be better but my ping is kinda limiting. Edit: My gear had the magnum (30rds) a mosin (36rds, PU and Bayo) and an FNX(no mags, 60 ish rds) and a fire axe.

Purely player knowledge. That is what i voted for, but how will you measure accuracy vs player skill. Unless you make the inspect function do more (like have buttons to check the chamber and barrel and so on on a gun) it kinda makes it a mute point.

Have you tried the ship wreck? almost always an M4 there, but no ammo and there is a little dirt track near it which is awesome for getting to NEAF. Look it up on the map, the shipwreck is called Rify. It's north of Berez.

Just saw that the pink baseball cap has an M4 on it. Can't believe i haven't seen it before.

You can add the map parts together, but look at the description when you want to know what part of chernarus it is for (some parts are mislabeled, i think SE = NE but not sure). Just drag a piece onto another and click combine map. It only works with 2 similar parts (ie NE and SE can attach but NE and SW can't) and two quaters make a half and 2 halves make a whole (so make either a N, W, E or S map and it's pair and then combine to get the whole map.).

Shoot him if i have ammo, then dodge alot. My ping is bad enough for me to shoot him, him to hear the shot, turn around and light me up, then die if i have good aim. If no ammo, then run and hide.

That is called rubber banding.

The rubber banding for me (Ping of over 1000, sattelite NBN sucks sometimes) was smaller in regards to distance change.

You can play DayZ on an Intel HD 4000 and AMD are notorious for good graphics in their CPU. I use the CPU graphics because my laptop refuses to use it's Nvidia Geforce 610M (which is a crap card anyway).

Swap his old card back in to see if the issues are still happening or if it is a card issue. You might need to get the card checked out, it may have died.
