Magnum. Don't need to got to Elektro/Cherno/Airfield to find mags, just load up and be thankful if you find a speed loader. ALSO best because revolver and magnum. Though i'd drop it the second a DA 44 magnum is added (if it ever is) though it seems to be a rule that a BIS shooter will have exactly one Revolver, no exceptions.

What about shotguns shell/Rat trap traps? Basically you mod a rat trap to shot a shotgun shell at about knee level. Apparently they drop people quick.

Cowboy hat and rocket aviators. I have discarded and overlooked many a ballistic helmet (even in the early days) for a Cowboy hat. Preferably brown or back.

I'd suggest taking off your stuff before he kills you. That way nothing gets ruined. Other than that, i have no clue.

I know that full auto is only meant for CQB and "Oh shit" moments. But if i ever get my hands on a full auto AK (IRL) i'm doing a mag dump (if i can). If only once.

But you are forgetting something, No AK needs to be on semi auto when it has a giggle switch. Why? Because AK.

Why on earth would you use an AK on anything other than full auto when you have the ability to use it that way?

Wow. You play for a few hours, encounter one hacker then go "Fuck this, I'm out". NO! That is not how it is done. What you do is you talk about all the good shit, all the stuff you liked and reminisce about it then you remark in an off handed fashion that there was a hacker. That was one guy, I'm guessing you immediately logged off and swore off the game for a few more months rather than changing server and trying again. Hackers are a minority, I haven't seen one in my 200+hrs of play but others have. Don't let a few bad apples ruin your experience. Tell us. What do you think of the current state of the game besides your encounter.

How about you just equip the bag to your hands to see it's contents. You can still run/crawl ect but you can't fire back. I know that i'm able to walk and retrieve stuff from my bag IRL when i want to but it shouldn't be as easy as what it is.

I'd rather the animation to "struggle out" if you have a gun is to use it to shoot your attacker.

Sorry Pet peeve. However I haven't been looking for M4 ammo recently but in my travels I cannot remember finding a single round. It seems you are not alone in your struggles. But I use 7.62, .357 Magnum and 12 Gauge Buckshot 90% of the time.

Apply 5.56 to those targets an see what happens. In solids containing lots of liquids (like humans and water jugs) velocity makes a big difference to the way the energy is shown.

Everyone who is shouting "This gun should be OHK because i think it will do that IRL" need to remember that people are not game characters. However i have heard that insurgents have take up to 14rds of 5.56 and still fought back in various locations.

The shotgun seems to be nerfed to sh*t. I shot a zombie from point blank with a full length double barrel (and i didn't miss) and nothing happened. My magnum made short work of it though.

Steam you say? Go to the A2OA bit on your steam and right click=> properties=> betas Get the beta patch on there, DO NOT USE THE SEPARATE A2OA beta BUTTON Install DayZ mod via steam. If you don't play vanilla then i can't really help you.
