An update the size of the experimental update is downloading for me, without me choosing the experimental option. Therefore i proclaim that the Experimental patch has become stable!

The zeroing is how far from you the bullet is supposed to land. So a 800m zero on a mosin is so the bullet hits right on at 800m, a 50m zero on an M4 will mean that is should hit dead on at 50m. However with the M4 the round it uses shoots flat enough for you to set it at 100m and for it to hit dead on for 300m. A higher number of zeroing does not mean it will be more accurate. It only adjusts how high or low the shot lands.

They are full 24/7, therefore every brother and his mother is looking for loot. Add in a high turn over of people once they find and test the one thing they are looking for (SKS anyone?) leads to a low possibility of loot even in the first 10 mins. There is always someone faster.

Here's a hint. You can access them without putting them down, just put them in your hands. Don't put anything down that you aren't willing to loose because this is an Alpha and thus random sh*t does happen including disappearing stuff.

I have killed twice. I put 3 357 rounds in a guy who charged me with an axe. However my ping meant i was knocked unconscious. The other was someone who i thought was a zombie, a mosin put that confusion to an end. I have been killed several times and spend a large amount of time in Elektro and Berezino. My intentions in this game are to be friendly and helpful, however i don't think that feeding new spawns is the way to go about this.

Bull-f*cking-sh*t. I regularly play on servers where i have 1000 ping (not a typo, satellite internet sucks for ping) and it causes me to run off buildings more, not help me survive the fall. I once lagged almost off the edge of a roof, i was just on the edge and was geared, as soon as i tried to turn around and vault to the middle of the roof i fell. I spent 1 second going "Am i dead, am I dead? I guess not because i'm not seeing the screen" once that second was up the "You are dead" screen popped up.

As far as I know the only way to do this is with lots of ammo, or explosives. You need to destroy them because they can't just be dismantled unless you own them. You can do it with a hatchet but i once spent a half an hour trying to hit down a cinder block wall. It didn't work.

No, it's a gimmick in the real world and doesn't justify putting in a couple of new ammo types of a sh*tty revolver which is in essence the biggest compromise in firearms design ever.

No your are in the right place for discussion in the Mod. However you seem to be playing Epoch, which is different to the original mod. In epoch there are safe zones where you can buy items for gold which you get by selling items. For example you could trade an Empty AK for 3 gold, then use that gold to buy a large assortment of things like other weapons, cars and survival gear. These safe zones are usually up north so check your in game map(they usually spawn you with one) and look for some marked areas that say "_______ Trading Zone" or similar and you will find them. As for the barriers, Base buklding is allowed in Epoch and the easiest way for somebody to get a base is to wall off all the doors of a open building and put in a new door which is locked by them. This leads to places like NWAF having entire hangers walled off. This can be frustrating, especially when the only rifle you have seen is sitting inside one of these areas when you can't get to it.

I've seen these before. Russian Revolving Shotgun. Didn't really take off over here because half of our states legislated the DA version as a semi auto shotgun, which put it in a higher category than most people can get and there are better firearms in that category than this, and nobody wanted to take the risk on the SA version because every state's weapons licencing wouldn't give it in writing that they could have them on, a relatively easy to get, Cat A licence. I don't know how popular they are in Russia but it just seems too niche to be popular in a country such as Chernarus (which is kinda Czech Republic but not) and therefore shouldn't be added except for shits and giggles IMO.

They should just make it so you can "Spin cylinder" which will randomise the placement of the bullet in the cylinder. All you have to do is load 1 or load 5 (if you want to be nasty) and pass it between one another and shoot the other rather than having to add a suicide option right now. I know if i ever get good enough to take hostages (note the plural) and this is added then i will do this to them. The one who loses dies immediately(via hot lead applied directly to the skull at a high velocity) and is buried, the one who "wins" stays in handcuffs and his/her gear is put onto the other guy when he gets buried. By then at least 75% of the zombies in the area would have been alerted which means you die quick or dies slow via some zombies. (note: they would have really pissed me off for me to want to do this and i would be puling the trigger)

I know, i was kinda joking but as another poster said "If i want to put metal in the microwave then let me put metal in a microwave, don;t limit me" (kinda paraphrasing there) Also i would never even consider cutting the front end off a firearm like a colt python. It would be too painful to ruin such a quality firearm.

Hey, If i want to turn my colt python into a snub nose with a hacksaw then i should be able to. It's a game, it's not like it;s a real python.

You could probably find a old Double barrel to saw down for cheaper than a new 1022.

Of all the things to saw down. What is the point of doing that to a 10/22 unless you wan to put a suppressor on it and keep a standard-ish length. Then again Ruger created the Charger, a pistol version of the 10/22. Aftermarket stock kits are apparently quite popular over here for 'em because we can put a stock on a pistol. (certain kits may be illegal, please check your local laws)

I would say yes to the Obrez, which is the sawn off but not the carbine. Just make it a different weapon, an 1938 model mosin is no more a cut down mosin 1891/30 than a SMLE No 5 is a cut down SMLE No 4.

Found a pistol flashlight. Now all i gotta do is find some FNX mags before the next update which allows you to chamber a round individually in the FNX.

Why would you want a dead zone on your mouse? It's not like it's a super sensitive steering wheel. Instantaneous and precise movement is why a player with a keyboard and mouse will triumph over a player with a controller in 90% of situations.

No, they aren't over powered. In fact look up "King Hit Death" and you will find possibly hundreds of news articles on the subject. This is the reason behind the "One punch can kill" PSAs and seminars which are put all over TV, Radio, Newspapers and our High schools in this wonderful land down under.

I found a Mosin compensator that was pristine today and a Pristine M4. However several zombies turned that compensator to worn and i'd hadn't even found a mosin yet.
