I have 2 Smith and Wesson Model 29, 6.5 inch barrel, Blued with wood grips. Target sights, wide hammer and wide trigger. Some sort of lever action that isn't a Browning BLR. Out of those two i'd prefer the first.

Known Bug, fixed in Experimental. Either DL the experimental patch and play on the testing servers or wait till the next scheduled maintenance where it should become stable. Next scheduled maintenance is on the 5/3/14 at 0700 GMT and will take 3 hours. If you don't know how to join experimental servers then visit the Announcements/Information section of this forum.

Actually the PU wasn't made for the Mosin. What it was made for doesn't spring to mind but it wasn't the Mosin-Nagant 1891/30. EDIT: I think it was SVT40 it was made for but don't quote me on it.

I'd hazard a guess that your CPU is letting you down. DayZ is currently "Optimized" for intel. An I5 will do you quite nicely, just makesure it's clock speed as standard is over 2.5GHz. DayZ just doesn't use more than 3-4 cores. But don't take my word for it because i am tired, wait for somebody to come in and confirm or deny what i'm saying. Also your graphics card doesn't compare to the newer GTX700 series cards that most people who get great FPS use. Though many people would love to get 20-40 frames, i never get above 25. This isn't an easy to process game like BF4 or COD.

Wow. just wow. In a game where people are scared to use ladders, stairs and drop from a height of 1m you somehow manage to jump 5m or so down, across a building and survive.

It's a good idea but the Medic system needs to be fleshed out more before this can happen.

This post isn't needed and can be considered flaming. If you don't have a solution then either don't post or try and find one. There are other reasons for servers restating earlier, one is to keep the noobs happy until they learn how to survive on a harder server.

Well the fact is that this country uses Russian as it's language. However books are sold world wide, in many languages. I'd bet that you could pick up just about any book in English all over the world assuming it was popular enough like most of the works in this game. Also there are books in different languages (i think, might just be the titles because if i haven't heard of it, or can;t read the title language i don't bother).

That's what i was trying to say. As long as i can do something i already know how to do IRL without having to find a manual in game (basically don;t make a block from doing certain actions but don't tell people what to do if they don't already know how to do it).

No you don't just bump something after 1hr and 30 mins. That's stupid. On the subject of your suggestion. Currently the way things work is "If the player knows then the character knows" so manuals, whist they may be a possible extra set of books, won't be useful except for doing what they do in real life, telling you what you need and what to do to people who don't know/remember. If the books themselves aren't tied to the stat then i'm ok with them being a book to add in, but if the only way to up the stat is with the book (ala Fallout) then no. The current idea is that the stats should be boosted by repition, because the only way to get better at something is "Practice, Practice, Practice".

It's better to just eat everything you find because you can hold massive amounts of energy. That's why if you look at my inventory when i've had a good run i'll have a med kit full of Bandages/morphine, around 100rds for a rifle that isn't an M4 (though i'm tempted to stop using rifles recently), A pistol (magnum is preferred even though you can have attachments on the FNX) with at least 3-4 speed loaders and 100 loose rounds, Sawn off with around 50-60 buckshot shells and 2-3 speed loaders. 1 or 2 cans of food and a couple of cans of soda. I loose too much space from food if i don't eat it. Even in the mod i carriied around 1-2 cans of food/drink and dumped them if i really needed the space.

Never heard of 13/1 being a measurement of speed. Are you trying to join US or AU servers? because the distance causes high ping.
