Yes, it is a double mag. And to fill it you need 2x 30Rnd and it will show you 60/60. Now, when you empty fully loaded magazine, there will apear 60Rnd per one slot in inventory, but AFAIK there can only be maximum of 30Rnd per one slot in invenory. Now, since you can not combine magazines above 30Rnd per one inventory I wonder if this is Exploit, so you can get free inventory space using only by this method.

Hell ow, AFAIK, it is said that weapons will be rare and that they will not spawn on every server. That means i.e. on 1000 servers, there will be only one thermal weapon . In this case, maybe revolver has rarity of spawning on 200 servers out of 1000, 50 per server. Idk, I am just guessing, but that may be the case and maybe they are just experimenting with rarity %. But I am sure revolver is in the game. It is just not on the server you are or on the servers you flipped. And this is I believe how rare will work. Fresh server won't have all DayZ items. Rare items will spawn rare on rare servers. But please, feel free to correct me if I am wrong. - MM

Hi there all, I land near Berezino with my Little Bird, where my fifth patient was waiting for me that day. I gave him blood bag and cured him of infection. That he asked me for a ride to location only 2 clicks away near Klen. Little bit strange but I agreed. When I was just about to land on that mountain, he ejected above the forest and immediately said: "Oh, did I break your heli?" I died, spawned in Solnichniy and went to loot my body a.s.a.p. I got there in about few minutes, found my fully loaded body and my Little bird (which I somehow luckily managed to land in little open area). I had a lot of industrial parts in heli, so I managed to repair it, but still needed main rotor assembly to repair it all the way. Since Berezino was much closer than my camp I went looting it for that main rotor. Nothing. I decided to change server and try again. After a few minutes of looting on that server I saw bandit next to me all of a sudden and a lot of zombies. I started to run away with all the zombies chasing me. I could saw zombies being shoot one by one next to me while running and that bandit was constantly teleporting in front of me. "I won't kill you" he said. So I sat down and asked him "What is your purpose, if you are not going to kill me?" Then he spawned that box I saw for the first time and it was fully loaded with all the items in DayZ I believe (like 50 or 150 of each item). I even saw AK SD mags?! I tried to act calm and said that I could use that main rotor out of that box and smile^^. He smiled back and spawned a lot of soldiers next to me and then killed them all. He was spawning more and more of those boxes and when I saw he moved little bit away from me, I was able to log out. I decided to run back to my camp and take the main rotor there (8 clicks of running). What I saw just hurt me even more after my previous experience. There was my Ural blown up, V3S stolen, Huey fully broken and 3 tents robed to near zero. Insect(s) only left me all the blood bags ... Now I am in the middle of the nowhere with my Little bird waiting for another patient ... TL;DR You can take everything from me, trick me and kill me. But you can never take my Humanity. - MM

Hi there all, So there was debate long time ago, also around first/third person view. This thread somehow died and now I think we could just look at this Q'n'A. Has this changed over time or there is still the fact, that you'll have to change it from 3rd to 1st in the menu if you'd like to go in-to scope or you'll just right-click for it? And in DayZ for me, Hardcore = Realistic, 1st person view = Realistic, Hardcore = 1st person view. For me, that is not what you said it is.

Yes it goes beyond that. But if we want to have survivor simulator, than the immersion to that is 1st person view. And 1st person view is not a priori 1st person shooter.

My friend, I don't know if you read post #1098 page 55. Anyway, I quoted Dean "Rocket" Hall saying: "We want to be a hardcore game ..." So it is not about "cool" it is hardocre that makes game "cool". And as they could disable 3rd in helies, they could disable it for SA.

I agree w/ you Ken Bean. Also, when flying in 1st person view, you can see more than walking or driving around in 1st person view. But still it is not like flying in 3rd person view, w/ 40 SPD and 100 ALT where you can see everything and that is exploit. In 1st you need to look around, through the windows, cooperate with gunner and so on. That is how it should work. And it does work w/ 1st person only.

This is how 3rd person players do it. They just fly over the forrest looking for tents. This is exploit! Try to look for tents flying like in 2nd picture and let your gunner on 3rd picture help you. I beg you. Please, do not say 2nd picture is from Huey and 3rd from Russian so it is impossible to do that, since this is just an example.

Sir, No. Just, no. Dslyecxi video has around 30.000 views and 3.000 likes/dislikes. That means every 10 person will approve that or deny "on paper". Since there are 2949 likes and 44 dislikes, that means ~99% of viewers would agree with him and would approve playing in 1st person.
