I just had two players join my DayZ server and begin to spawn in gear and a Blackhawk - [CM] Fuzzy [CM] Bryan I didn't realize it until after they logged and I was going through the chat log, so when I found the evidence I went to DART to ban them - only to find out that DART did not record their presence in the Player Database. Does anyone know how this is possible, and how to combat? Was DART just relogging at the moment they entered the game? Thanks. Excerpt from the chat log - [2013-10-12 | 00:02:36] (Side) [CM] Fuzzy: Ill give u guys some wepons[2013-10-12 | 00:02:39] (Side) [CM] Fuzzy: ^-^[2013-10-12 | 00:02:46] (Side) [CM] Fuzzy: Wut u guys want? ...after which they spawned in the Blackhawk. EDIT - I banned them manually, because their login was recorded in the console of DART, was just wondering why they wouldn't show up in the db.

DART Bypass?

I haven't had many problems with Dart, so I'll probably stick with it for the moment. The thing that made me suspicious was that every other player that I've ever looked for has always been in the Dart player db, so it could be that they found an exploit. Not really sure, but they're banned now in any case, at least until they find an exploit for that :P -

It occurred to me that there are barns in remote areas of Chernarus where you can sometimes find Jerry Cans, etc, and Takistan doesn't have an equivalent. So I added junk yards in remote areas, where you can sometimes find vehicle parts. Also adding player bases. -

Server is Veteran, US East Coast and is restarted every 6 hours. We prefer (heavily customized) old school DayZ, so when it comes to initial loadout you get minimal gear, but the additional map areas should keep things moving along. Added AI heli patrols on the SW and E coasts. They only shoot bandits, and are there to suppress spawn camping. They do not patrol over Elektro, Cherno or Berezino. -

Some feedback after playing on our server for a while - 1. Zombies still glitch through walls. It seems to be happening only in buildings that are raised off the ground a bit, like Land_HouseV2_02_Interier. When they come through the wall, they are always sunk into the floor, with their top half sticking out of the floor. 2. Infection is cool, but antibiotics could be made a bit more available, as others have posted. Instead of doing away with the "deathmatch" aspect of the game, the rarity of antibiotics has codified it into the game, as everyone just KOS other players to see if they're carrying pills. It's kind of becoming "Capture the Pill Bottle", which doesn't feel like it should be the main focus of the game. 3. Viral zeds seem to be more sensitive, in that they can spot you crawling where other zeds don't seem to be able to. This is fine, but is there a way to make the "stand up" animation quicker? As it is, it's almost 2 seconds, which means that by the time you react and hit "stand", you're very likely to get hit and infected, which is frustrating after 10 minutes of crawling around. 4. On a similar note, some buildings still make you stand when you try to crawl through the threshold, which again negates my stealthy kung fu action. Can that be fixed? Stealth is obviously much more important now, so the glitches that ruin it should be fixed. Overall, good work and thanks, it's a fun patch.

Hi, I posted this elsewhere but perhaps this is the better spot for it. I just got infected by running over an infected zombie with a Ural. Please tell me this is a bug. What is the point of participating in a zombie apocalypse if you can't occasionally freak out and run a group of them over in your giant military transport? -
I'm down with infection, it's challenging and has really helped the game get its original feel back. But I just got diseased by running over an infected zombie in a Ural. Really? You're taking away the one haphazardly fun thing left to me, running over zombies? Serious?
