I've wondered about this too (why capacity on ruined clothing isn't effected or if there were plans) and always thought it would be funny if ruined clothing/backpacks randomly dropped out items with a small audio cue like you had holes in your pockets.

I wouldn't see this being a problem ... in many popular mmos guilds had dkp systems where people could save up raid points to "buy" loot when it dropped at a raid. I would think if anyone was going to police this immediately if it were a problem it would be mmo makers.

Sadly I have seen news stories of people that should have heeded the same advice and unloaded their weapon before posing for a selfie with it ..... definitely sound advice.

Has quite a bit to do with mods being broken every time they make a tiny change tho .... I wonder, how long would it take for these enthusiastic modders to just get pissed and say screw it because every other patch completely broke their mod? Don't know why people think alowing modding right now is such a good idea with the current game code in such a state of flux.

The 1 other thing you may consider putting into the budget is a good aftermarket CPU cooler. The availability/price of the closed loop liquid coolers is a great choice for anything that you may overclock.

Maybe just a tranq gun would suffice? Would be a bit more plausible in the environment the game is set in. There has been numerous suggestions about less than lethal weapons though, hopefully this is a mechanic that can be fleshed out later down the line when they actually have proper zombies and server performance under control.

Some people ONLY get to play at night time ... .why would they want to be in game at night all the time as well? Time acceleration is definitely necessary (although maybe not as extreme of acceleration as you speak of). I do wish server descriptions had a format to let you know the acceleration tho ... even a small marker on watch or something would be helpful.

Of all the games on that list though ..... DayZ is still the one I am looking forward to the most as a finished product (if the wait doesn't kill me! :P)

All I can say is I can't wait for them to ruin standalone :D (but the mod will fill in most nicely until then)

Its rather pointless to argue or complain any about loot distribution at this point (hopefully soon they will have more finite control) CLE will hopefully change the whole game (especially being able to change things on the fly) making it more of a survival experience

You also use cans to boil water in the mod for your PET bottles/Canteen. Hopefully they get server performance to a point that they have enough overhead to even do this but right now considering the servers can't even handle zombies yet this seems like a needless tie up of server resources.

It's just typical for forum communities to become toxic (mitigated by good moderation of course) In fact there are some 3rd party developers for DCS that made a statement they wouldn't even be showing any more work or have dev updates on the forums because people were acting so entitled and whining/bitching about things they were in no place to be doing so. **I also applaud them for doing this.

Yes ... sandbox gameplay means do what you want, forcing anything is stupid. If you are playing the game strictly for player interaction go join a chat room. ** and I do understand that people that pay for a private server can do what they want, I have no problems with this what so ever, and as you stated I don't like it so I indeed do not play there.

Too much of a pain in the ass to play on a server that will kick you for KoS. I'm all for RP servers but the ones that FORCE player interaction are stupid. Sorry if I'm wrong please correct me, but last time I looked DayZRP was one that had the rule Kick for KoS. Some situations KoS is ok imo.

Honestly I'm still rockin a p8p67 so can't really attest to anything other than the build quality of stuff from that era. I'm definitely not opposed to other brands and have been pretty impressed with what gigabyte has been pushing out recently for hardware. I know a g1 gtx 970 is on my list for the near future :) Just from the little shopping I have done in the past I've liked the looks (spec and physically wise) of the asus maximus VII hero but as I said can't personally vouch for its performance/reliability. ** I also have no clue on exchange rates so not sure what the price would be for one of those in Australia. *** Now ya got me lookin at PC parts lol, wife shot me a dirty look till i told her not to get all excited. If I was on more of a budget build I would look into gigabytes gaming boards like Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 7, they seem pretty nice and even have a built in amp for the audio output (this may not appeal to you but I use studio headphones so its very beneficial)

Wow setup is crap? I'd say piss off with those kinda comments. I have no idea why you would say any of what you just said to be honest ... To OP, I personally like asus MBs. The bios is easy to navigate and set up for OCing. Disregard what edwin says about your cpu being "too powerful for your graphics card" he obviously has no idea what he's talking about and Dayz will probably still bottleneck at your cpu anyways (thats just what it does right now). Besides the fact that graphics cards are always upgradable, and since you have the 750ti already it will more than suffice until you can. ** Btw don't even consider an H97 board with a K series chip, the H97 doesn't allow for any overclocking OR SLI, and will definitely limit your future plans. ***PS ... I'm still loling about the "cpu to powerful for your gpu" comment.
