I have horrible graphic glitches at NWAF and Stary Sobor (cant enter the town at all its so bad). Restart my client and they are still in the same place.

When they enabled vehicles again a while back server didnt need to be restarted I believe, dont see why it will need to be for choppers.

Nametags need to go but I want to keep third person for the time being. May not be realistic but neither are zombies. If they did some sort of fix to first person view where you wernt bouncing all over the place while running, or made it where it was tolerable like in BF3 then it wouldnt be an issue for me if they got rid of it but it is ridiculous atm.

Ive banned like 10 people in the last couple days for ammo.sqf. I have had a couple people I've caught on my server teleporting and spawning helicopters but there is absolutely nothing in the logs that they are doing anything. I just happened to see it first hand.

I PM'd Vaq after i got killed by an invis/teleporting player with an AS50. Was going to assume that was the extent but I guess not. Hackers sure do love servers with side chat.. Seen more on these two servers the past 2 days than Ive seen in 2 months.

Believe me you dont want helicopters. Person who gets it can easily find every vehicle on the map with the huge radar detection.

Got someone who can get on and take care of the hacker? They've been on here spawning jets, turning people into sheep and nuking for a while. On the 2nd server.

I searched the forums and google and couldnt find any information. Is there a certain amount of vehicles that can be active on the server at one time? I've heard people tossing around like 30 or so as if they heard it somewhere. Server I play on the majority I've seen about 15 including bicycles and searched the entire in game map with a few friends and found pretty much nothing which makes me believe there can be a small amount or people are still storing vehicles off map and just moving them once a day to avoid the 24 hour inactive despawn.

I have found a few repairable ATV's that are not on any of the maps. Most of the maps out there cut off like 2 rows of grids on the top and there are some spawns up there. I've found several vehicles people have hid but been looking specifically for some of the military offroads and gaz's.

Yea this is pretty fucking awesome. You restart our server with no warning whatsoever. You change the name so now people have no idea that Chicago 51 is now US557 unless they happen to remember who hosted a server. I now have no idea what the name is of the other servers are I have camps on.

I love how everyone uses the excuse they are not getting paid, So they arnt working for BI? The company they said moved some of them from Arma3 to Dayz fulltime. They arnt making a regular salary? Yea rocket didnt just move to the same place where BI studios are. Even if they are only making their base salary your nuts if you think they arnt getting any bonus' from all thats going on now.

Honestly this is being blown way out of proportion. Dude has some minor Dayz rights, who cares. This is an alpha test and I for one love to see new shit being tested out, especially fortifications as this is the type of thing that will keep groups playing and servers active. Someone lied on the internet? Oh noes thats an E-First right there folks. I still do hope they change their mind on allowing us to enable side chat and disconnect messages if we want. I would also love to be able to spawn this kind of stuff on my server. Who doesnt love to build?

Once they fix Duping sure. As of now there is like 100 ways to completely dupe your inventory and tents.

I was on my server late one night and it was pitch black. I was on the north side of Cherno in a red brick building looking for a weapon after a fresh spawn at the factory. I seen some lights flashing around the city and quickly realized it was a vehicle. I was peaking out a window and saw a vehicle being driven up a hill and into the woods and the lights turned off. I figured at this point it was being parked. Two silhouettes were in the distance and threw down 2 green chem lights and starting shining their flash lights all around looking for players. I sprinted across the street and dove into a bush as I watched these two players head twords a gas station to refill. I sprinted up the hill and jumped into the V3S supply truck they had parked and took off in it. As i made it near the road both players started popping shots into the truck but I managed to take minimal damage and made it out of the city alive heading north along the coast to Berezino. The V3S isnt the most fast vehicle but I held down the accelerator to go as fast as I could. I was driving with my lights off so the visibility was terrible. As I was driving along the road I crashed into a destroyed car beside the gas station south of Solnicky (as I call it). As i sat in the truck recovering from the crash with my headlights off.. The green military offroad that spawns at Green Mountain raced past me with their head lights on. Somehow they completely managed to miss this large supply truck sitting on the side of the road with the front tires blown out. I was pretty close to Fabrik and managed to find the two tires I needed. When i returned to the V3S the headlights were turned on but noone was around. I was a little spooked but repaired quickly and took off once again. I was literally shaking for 15 minutes.

What are these fishy things? I have an HFB server and havent had any issues.

I have bounced around a bunch of servers today and I have noticed about 10 different servers that have a very active side chat going.. so much so that I believe most of the servers have enabled side chat in the mission file.

Tried getting on their teamspeak?
