[spec-Ops] was established in 2005 with BF2 and other games. Over the years, we have seen many new games come out, and continue to welcome them. We moved from a "clan", to a "community" of gamers, due to wide range of games we all play. Simply put, a community of friends that enjoy gaming, in all genres. [spec-Ops] structured itself, to offer gamers a friendly, easy going environment to play in without the drama etc. that some communities have. We have rules we est. from day one, to provide a great playing experience for all. We've seen many groups start up, heading in direction of survivor only or bandits only. Members of [spec-Ops] DayZ are survivalist. By that, we are in the game to survive, we will do what ever it takes to provide food, guns ammo etc, to our group. If, someone is seen as a threat, we take them out. Group member is low on food, guns, and none spawn, we take action to provide for them. Harsh reality is, if in a real life situation as that, you would do what ever it took, to feed your family, and provide for them. We view it the same, we take measures to ensure our survival. Some will see that as 100% bandits, but we see it as simply surviving. We don't hunt survivors, nor bandits, if the need is there, you are a target. So simply put, we are Survivalist!!! [spec-Ops] is looking for members that view the game as we do, Survive! We are looking for members that are mature, will be loyal to [spec-Ops], behave in a mature and responsible manner as to not tarnish the reputation of [spec-Ops]. Age requirement is 16 or older. Team Speak 3, as well as a working mic, are required while playing and is key, for communication. Be cheat free, we ban on site, anyone using any type of cheats, or hacks. We are looking for casual/ hardcore gamers alike. Someone that is drama free, and is interested in rolling out with a group that has their back. Be able to pull your own weight, we don't offer handouts. By this, we mean we do look after each other, but we all work together, not membership, just for hand outs, pull your own weight, work with us, not against us. Tired of having no one there to cover your back? Close knit group to play with. Team Speak 3 for communication in game. No clan/community drama. No requirement of skill, anyone is welcome. Survival, the group has your back. Great gaming experience, we may decide to take a point, or just loot, but we do it as a group. Strength in numbers. Website, TS3, and chance to advance up the ranks within the community. Laid back players, and some hardcore players. As a community we offer more then one game type, and have members that play many. We are looking to expand into i.e, EU division etc. Applicants are screened for any past gaming bans, prior to approval into the community. Applications are accepted through our web site only. You may request a guest Team Speak 3 pass if you want to get a feel of the community before hand. Be advised, if we are on missions, or in a hold out location, we may go to a private channel, which we feel is understandable if you are a guest. If not, run with us, we welcome it. Is Spec-Ops right for me? Am I dedicated to the principals of this community? Please review the code of honor and rules before making a decision. Spec-Ops was founded in 2005, and we've held our core rules for a reason. Some frown upon the rule about no dual clanning. We feel once you, as a member, has decided this is where you want to game, then dedication should fall into place. Honestly, we should not have to make that a rule, one should be dedicated to the growth of their community. Spec-Ops is your community, as a member. Loyalty, Honor, Dedication and Commitment should be at the base of all members. We are not the other clan/community, that has no structure/core values to build on. Founded since 05, we have a few that have left, or have decided to break our core rules. Some try to tarnish Spec-Ops for upholding our values, as if it were a bad thing, for a community, (only a few communities left out there that do) to hold core values. We pride ourselves on the values we have. Our goal is to make a community, so members can enjoy, have fun and free to play any and all games that want to be a part of a community of gamers that are dedicated in the growth, image, and represent all in this community. So read over rules etc., and make your decision on whether you want to be a part of a community that does have core rules, and structure. We understand, not all will agree with our rules, policies, we respect that. But, on the flip side of that, if that's the case, then we probably are not a fit for you.
