So I just stumbled upon this post, and I just can't find a better place to ask this. I got my cd-key stolen by a hacker. I did download software that was most likely a key logger. I was extremely naive and wanted to download a new mod for dayz directly from the web instead of DayZ Commander etc. , so the key logger probably stole my cd-key. So yeah, 2 days later i was globally banned ,but not under code 3065, but under a code I can't understand. I can't remember it correctly, but I think it was 3c7666 or something similar. However, I just accepted that my account has been compromised and hacked, and that I was globally banned. So I am planning on getting a new ArmA II tonight. I deleted what I have downloaded, and I scanned my computer for any remaining viruses, found 3 and deleted them all. Now my question is, I have created a new steam account ready for my new ArmA, but do I have to delete the old ArmA II completely, or can I just delete all regedit files and verify them over my new steam account after I have bought the new game, so that my newly bought game sets up new regedit files so I can play?
