Which one would you guys pick. My main weapon is a DMR sniper. I've got about 10 rounds of G17, so ammo for both of those pistols.

Sound wise, what's the difference? Which one produces more noise?

Is this a bug or a known feature? Everytime i disconnect and re-connect (just to avoid losing bullets), no server hopping, noone shooting nearby, i get shock state and must wait 5minutes while fainted when i reconnect. Is this a bug or a known intended feature?

What is the best Sniper in your opinion? I've only tried the DMR so far, and i loved it!

Fine. I'm a player that usually stays at Cherno/Elektro/Balota. Since i have 2 keys, i'll keep my sniper safe and go on to NW now with my noob one. I'll post back the results.

It already happened to me once, he was invisible right next to me shooting. I THINK that it's because they didn't have the latest Beta/DayZ versions, many players were reporting being invisible on 3rd person.

I got my AS50 from a lame sniper, but after some research, i found out it's quite rare and only spawns in Helicopter Crashes. When i'm tired of sniping, and if i still have it, i'll send you a PM here and i can give it to you, deal?

That was a really interesting post,wxEcho. Thanks for all that information. I've been using the AS50 lately, and i have found that the Zero-ing really helps assuming you know the target's distance. The DMR is still a great weapon, specially to use with the NVG! The DMR also has the right click zoom even when scoped, which is another nice thing about it.

Detailed guide to respawn, by me: I try to spawn next to the 3 western cities: Kamenka/Komarovo/Balota. Respawn until next to one of those. I follow the coast to komarovo, where there is a big building with nice spawns. I check the building for a weapon. Proceed moving towards the east city, Balota. Check the airfield Tower and Hangars once, afraid of encountering players. If, at this point, you still don't have a gun, check the Deer Stands near the military camp south of the airfield. Go into the north woods, and follow the coast until you reach Cherno, keep going for the Northern Hospital. Get yourself some Bandages/Painkillers/MORPHINE. Check the apartments for weapon/ammo/backpack/suits. And then proceed to whatever you want.

Indeed. With the new patch i have a few things to do before adventuring: Get a gun, then raid balota's deer stands for a good primary. After that, i run to the woods north and make my way to cherno, thru the woods, and raid the hospital on the north exit. I also check the apartments for ammo, a better secondary, camouflage and backpack. Make sure to always have 2 Bandages, Morphines and Painkillers. If you're playing with a friend, a couple of Bloodbags also help.

I think there should be a new way to enforce the servers to update to the latest version, this way people would stop abusing this. I don't think these exploits apply as a thin line between hacking, they are two different things. When you hack, you are aware you are using third programs to gain an advantage, but when exploiting this 'glitch', you are taking advantage of a flaw (again, specially on the alpha test of a game) for some small benefit. So, if we are going to give out bans for that, why would i risk getting banned because i used a flaw to get myself a crappy makarov and not just start hacking and get myself nukes and screw the whole game? You get what i mean? Doctor Who: Yup, it's a completely new show, as you can see, Russel T Davis stopped writing episodes after Tennant, which is why i think they decided to change the whole thing. I'm having no issues with switching to and from Semi and Auto. Are you running latest Beta and DayZ? They were updated today. Both.

Usually i try to stock at least 2 morphines with me at all times. The breaking bone rate is ridicolous atm, as was the bandage/bleeding on 1.7.1.4. Zombie Hits -> Bleeding -> Bandage -> Another Hit -> Bleeding Again -> No Bandages -> Suicide.

Zero-ing. PageUp adds 100m, PageDown reduces 100m. Try to find out the target's distance, then put on Zero-ing using those buttons (It shoes up next to your ammo) and when you shoot, it will calculate the right distance of bullet drop.

Balota Airfield/Military Camp. Best place to get yourself a good Assault Rifle or even a Sniper.

The M14 AIM is a great weapon. I'd take it over many. It's 1hko, with nice fire rate and good accuracy. The only thing i dislike about it is the noise it produces.

Then why not just hack and spawn yourself a weapon? What's the difference exactly? By hacking you can get yourself banned ;) And no, in no way you can compare Matt to David, David was way more spontaneous. They changed a lot after David, the intro, the tardis, the sonic screwdriver... It's like a new show :/ I miss old David Doctor Who times....
