Ok, here's the current status. There about 8 members commited, with 4 active players at the moment. This does not include the interested people in this thread. We have rented a server and is currently figuring out a best timeslot(s) for weekly sessions. Currently, Friday night GMT time has been talked about (around 6pm in GMT or Noon in US Pacific Time). This would allow NA and Euro players the ability to play together :) Mondays and Wednesday can also be regular meeting days. Around the same time slot also. Please PM me for a direct link to our Forums.

You maybe running perpendicular to the North border of the map so head south east.

Download and install the 'Six Updated Suite' It automatically downloads any new updates and installs (or fixes) them in your directory. Oh, once that is done, just run east. Or Southeast. More east than south. You're off the Chenarus map, so you're gonna have to make your way back. Been stuck there a few times. Once i only ran for 5 minutes and reached the forest. One time it took me an hour.

So 1.7.1 and 1.7.1.1 hotfixed installed. I join a server and after loading, all i see is a wide featureless grassland... and a number of dead bodies laying around me. Oh, and a few live ones that's just standing/crouching/laying still. All bodies can be looted btw. Chatbox is active with live players and i hear a few gunshots from time to time. I entered 3 other servers and still the same. So i thought, what the heck, just respawn and start over, might fix it. I click respawn - and literally, i spawn 5 seconds later on the same spot with all my gear still in tact. What's going on? I redid the Mod install (Copy/Paste). Still the same. What should i do? Anyone know what's up? Anyone else experience the same thing?

I literally saw 8 zombies doing a love train when i went inside one of those long barns. Good thing i had an m249 to mow them down. Still a little weird.

Hey fellas, quick question... I have a weeks worth of loot, what happens if i update? Will i lose everything?

YES only IF! >> You can grab things/tools that you can use a melee weapon. How bout that hatchet? Steel pipes? Crowbar? Oh! How bout them fists? NO! >> People camping along the coast would get free stuff. I would suggest to limit ammo and gear instead. 1 or 2 mags, no morphine, no painkillers, 1 can of beans, and your water bottle! And oh, please, who drinks a whole can of water in one go? Maybe 3 times?

I didnt read over all the replies, but doesnt ARMA replicate moon cycles? Nights vary in brightness. From very dark (total darkness - need lights) up to a point where you can see your shadow because of the moon (no need for lights or what not). That's how it is for me. I spend most of my gaming time under the cover of darkness as it is much safer. I never use flares btw, only chem lights.
