My advice would be to use a website/map like https://www.izurvive.com/ . You can create/join a group and then place markers that only the group can see. So you can place markers with your names for your current location and a meetup location/destination. So even if you're not playing at the same time as long as you update where your marker is the other person knows the area that you're at. Their might be a little learning curve on map reading, but they're going to have to learn sometime.

Like the topic says, if a public shard server is kicking you for no reason make sure to report them to their GSP. I've reported two in the last 24hrs myself. Read here for information on reporting. People can't run a public shard server and treat it as private for themselves or their clan mates. If they want to kick, then they need to run a private shard.

Actually they're found on military bases and in downed helicopters, not just laying around on the ground in random spots. I think someone got sniped and is a little but hurt. It's ok cupcake, you can spawn and try again.

Edit - Reading is fundamental :) I could see maybe adding a mechanic in general where police and army zombies have a chance to spawn with a weapon and will randomly shoot at a player they've aggroed with some piss poor accuracy until they run out of ammo. Would add more spots to get weapons, but making areas group only I don't think would work out well in DayZ.

If you have to be "prepared" to hit two keys on your keyboard, I don't think any online game that pits you against another human being right is for you. PvP might be a tad above your mental capacity.

One slight little problem, just about every public DayZ server would disappear. Most the server admins hate not having complete control over their servers and for that reason alone they'll switch to the local database. There are already enough problems with finding servers, and this will not help at all.

Sounds exactly like the old system with no way of fixing the "I killed an idiot who shot at me, know I'm a bandit" problem.
