I don't understand your problems. I'm currently running with a P1 with 2 magazines and a CR75 with 2 magazines on my Hardcore character and a magnum and an FNX with 2 mags on my normal. They're piss easy to come by. Also other guns don't come with anything with them other than AKMs and M4s with their butt-stocks and guards.

My watch is Solar powered, and when it's night it still works because it builds up enough charge to last a few days without direct sun light.

that's a slippery slope. My group of 5 suffered turmoil like this. One idiot shot at another idiot and broke his legs. So idiot 2 killed idiot 1. 2 days later idiot 1 killed idiot 2 and pretended his flatmate did it.

They WILL do a new map. Just not for a long long long time. They will do maps once the game is fully released past alpha and beta. New maps are not important compared to fleshing out the current map, adding content, fixing bugs and increasing performance.

That's incorrect. I gear up and then hermit around the North/West and occasionally go to the NWAF. On 40 man servers you run into more people than you'd think in the western regions. All of which are trigger happy so fuck it. I'd rather pull the trigger than have the trigger pulled on me. I'm more inclined to be friendly at the shore when I'm a fresher spawn, but when I get hands on a Mosin and some ammo, friendliness goes out the window. In over 250 hours of playtime I've had 3 friendly encounters, 2 of which I've documented here. I don't see a point in walking around with my gun on my back or aimed down shouting friendly when you can easily be knocked out in 1 hit or shot at by some goon who obviously isn't friendly and will take advantage of you. ESPECIALLY if you have to leave the 40 man population server and go to a 5-15 man server to get gear again. When loot respawns I will probably be more inclined to be friendly as I won't have to go server hopping like some nomad. But for now, there's nothing to do, loot is not plentiful and people are asshats. So if you can't beat them. Join them.

Why be friendly when 99% of the time it gets you killed? I might be more inclined to be friendly once loot respawns, but for now I don't want to be friendly, die and then have to server hop to get gear again.

Probably something they're working on that they forgot to remove from the game files.

The door thing is due to terrible desync between you and the server.

You can't use a strip clip because they're not in the game yet. GG no re.

On launch there was a bug where sometimes if someone died their VOIP would transmit across the entire map so everyone could hear it. It's possible that such a thing has resurfaced with the newest patch.

I was more talking about the memory usage of 20,000+ character models/skins, not the cost of doing such a thing as DayZ has sold 2mil copies worth £20. That's £40mil. I'm sure there's a little money left over to hire some freelance texture/modelers.

Many guns have mag rails like the M4 and the AK. The pistol flash lights sort of clip on. Very few guns have attatchments that can screw on/off. They're either on for good, or you can remove them easily with a rail system. In real life it doesn't serve you well to have to screw an ACOG onto your M4 if you're in the deserts of Iraq in the middle of fighting insurgents.

They WILL increase the loot and zombie numbers greatly once their servers and the game itself are optimized to do so. For now what we have is what we get. This is the reason for no respawning loot yet as they've not optimized the game to do this at the moment.

Why are you suggesting a points system to the achievements too? This isn't Xbox Live or PSN. Points are meaningless.
