It's a 250squared KM map, however you sprint at something daft like 30km/h. the 250squared km size is counting the ocean and the islands too though.

What the spinning? Likely due to you turning and something gaining priority over the game (like a Windows notification in the background) and the game remains spinning.

If you were stood stationary you probably didn't fall through the floor/walls. Most likely a sniper or a melee attack with no sound as sometimes that happens.

I sure do server hop! There's nothing to stop me except a little wait time between doing so. And there is nothing to encourage me not to. When loot respawns I will have no need to server hop and will remain on 40+ man servers to get the most out of the DayZ experience. But for now, why not server hop? Especially when I die on a full server and have no prospect of getting food, a bag and an SKS to get myself started. Remain on your self envisioned high horse if you will. Yeah. I'm sure they're afraid of someone called IkillHoppers on a 250 squared KM map. Good hoppers go on when the server just resets and blaze through, or at least scope the place they're camping out before running around. Your method if flawed and you coincidentally saw people you thought to be hoppers leaving. 1/10 flawed logic.

They won't make a winter variant of the map until they fully complete the current map. Therefore all the clothes are of no consequence until then. Fire places already do dry people. They will be adding more variants of illnesses in the future such as Cholera and Malaria. There are thunder storms already but the snowstorms will probably not come again until the current map is finished. Sleeping just doesn't work. Treat logging off as sleeping rather than going into a game. Running around and then sleeping in the game for 30 minutes just looking at a black screen. That would be no fun at all.

By that merit lets punish people who run around with object detail on very high. Because it's a graphical feature that gives people an advantage over those with it on low.

You shouldn't encourage people to PVP with pistols. They can't zero past 50 meters and as a result are useless at fighting anything that isn't sitting on the end of the pistols barrel.
