That would be great! But who would make a website and host it? I don't think the devs are going to go into that depth for this, where as BI could just implement the squad XML system.

This isn't elitism. DayZ has never had a kill cam nor ever needed one nor has ANYONE ever suggested one because this game is supposed to be a simulator, not another team death match game. The kill cam would be abused by groups and would be totally unfair to people who have the patience to wait for their prey to come to them.

HAHAHAHA. I love this game. I've been playing since the mod came out, I have no clue what you are talking about, I don't bitch about dying in stupid ways. What I said was meant sarcastically and so that people understand you will die because of stupid things. Never once have I complained about this game. Sure, it has its problems, oh it has its problems alright but I love this game. If you want to see what people ranting about the game go to the graveyard. Please do that so you'll see what real complaining looks like. Until the day that I say "This game is shit" or something similar you have no right to tell me its in alpha and there are bugs to be expected, I was aware of this, I read the message when the game start I CLICKED THE I UNDERSTAND BUTTON. Thanks for being that person who starts un-needed drama on a forums post that was meant somewhat sarcastically. EDIT: If my comments give you cancer then maybe you shouldn't read them, just as someone who doesn't like the game shouldn't play it. ;)

Well as I am sure a lot of you know, we had a new player posting about how she was afraid of losing her gear and how much of it she has: Afraid to go on So I thought I'd help her out, our journey started with me running from Kraznostav to NWAF then south to the Vybor Military base, then she ran north from Zelenogorsk to meet me. After we meet up we killed a boar so she could have an improvised backpack, but being the genius that I am I forgot that I didn't have a knife. So we went to Vybor to find one, one of the first few buildings we looted was already open, I knew something was up she kept telling me don't kill them, don't kill them. So I went up the steps and there was a guy standing in the doorway completely geared, gun and axe holstered. I told him to come out and lay on the ground and as soon as I said it I saw the barred of an AKM come around the corner and... BOOM! They shut the door. We asked if they had a knife and they said no, so we moved on and looted the rest of town. Eventually I was about to give up after about 15 buildings and countless cars. So I cause some commotion, I follow my clan rules and blow up the gas station in town. I decide to go back to the building where the two guys were to see if they left anything, there was a note up there saying something about beans and zeds. Then as we are leaving we loot one last building and we find a pristine machete, we sprint back over to the military base where we killed the boar and of course it's de-spawned. So we look around for a few minuets and find another one, shoot it, gut it and I finally make her the backpack and she finally gives me ammo for my gun (I only had 2 bullets the entire time) so I load my gun and we run to the next field over and I cut down a tree to cook some meat. I start the fire and put the meat in it so it will cook. She starts lagging really bad and there is a zombie beating her to death so I shoot the zombie and she says she can't bandage so I start to bandage her then BANG BANG! out of nowhere two shots fire, one hit me the other lucky missed, my screen goes white instantly. I am used being ambushed like this, I tell her to run, run like she's never ran before, I run around in this field (we luckly happened to be next to like 10 bushes and a few trees) and lay down next to a tree, I am still bleeding and my leg is in pain, I start scanning for this guy I have no clue where he was only the general direction of the shots. I look in all the logical places, in the tree line across the field, the hill near us, everywhere I can't find him. At this point my screen is black and white, then I look around in the field next to me.... he's laying here, in the middle of a field, crawling around acting like he's hidden, I stand up and get behind the tree so he cant shoot me, I lean and ADS with my damaged PU scope, and shoot, then shoot again, he stops moving. I put another bullet in him before running over and putting another one in his skull. I tell her it's safe to come back, the scrub is dead. I bet you wonder what happened to that meat I put in that fireplace huh? Well long story short it burnt. I extinguish the fire and go loot the scrub who shot at me, he had a blaze with a snap loader, nothing more. A MRDS for the FNX45 for Matchbox Chick and some more med supplies for me, not to mention all the ammo I'll ever need. The moral of this story is, don't cook your meat in the middle of the field & that some times being friendly means you live longer than if you were to KoS.

The crescent in this picture is the COD reference I was talking about. In your post you should mention you are suggesting things for hardcore. I do think hardcore needs something that lets you know where you got shot, where as in regular you have your magic 3DP camera following you around at all times so you can see shit happening way better. And yes, you are right, not every has a nice head set, I don't. $15 at Wal-Mart for my mic and 2 speakers that came with the office PC my dad bought. Yet I still out shoot and out live anyone I play with and most that I play against. You don't need a good computer or good accessories to be good at a game so don't say not having something puts you at a disadvantage. And yeah, I'm sorry for being a prick. It tends to happen when you see suggestions like this all day every day. Nothing personal :P

Another COD suggestion...... After awhile you learn to be this magical thing called ob·serv·ant adjective: quick to notice things. In other words, you can see blood come out of your character when you are shot, or dust kick up on the ground around you if they cant shoot. Also the sound of where the shot came from will tell you where they are at. I think that's enough information to shoot down this suggestion.

It is thirty seconds. Crazy shit happens man, ya never know. As for being a fresh spawn, just deal with it. You arent the first person to die unknowingly. :P
