    I did everything in your post apart from the Ramdisk thing, i ran the 3DMark - http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/816035 Back when mod was quite new i never had such terrible fps problems, in empty areas with no zombies i get 15-25 fps, inside buildings i get 30. My most demanding game is bf3 and i run that fine at constant 60 on high with things like anti aliasing off. Grid 2 being my newest new game i get constant 60 with everything on high too.
