I can get up to 600 yards with my mosin with iron sights in real life, but thats after THOUSANDS of rounds from.it and me actually "learning" the gun itself (i.e how it acts, what ammo it likes best, ext) And 5.56 is actually the.most accurate round of all the calibers ingame (excluding the WRONG caliber for mosin which is 7.62x54r, it says 7.62x51 which woukd beat 5.56) if we were in real life. Buuut, its not. Its like they took an m4 from payday, gave it to a monkey with parkinsons and said have at it. And as a side note for those who say that the ingame mosin may be a 7.62x51 variation, its not. Its wrong info. Noone makes new mosins, let alone in 7.62x51. But there were around 100,000 made by Winchester and Remington for the Soviets in WWI in 7.62x51, but its so rare good luck.finding one.

Im for PvP and KoS, but just like actual cannibalistic pshycopaths, it needs to be in moderation. Ingame, 8/10 people KoS and I think of them as cannibalistic pshycos. The other 2 are a hero and a normal.guy.Hopefully irl, 1 would be a cannibal, 1 a pshyco and the other 8 heros and survivors. Its acceptable, but the amount is purely rediculous. And like I said, PvP isnt what DayZ was meant to be entirely.

Wrong. PvP is NOT the core of the game. Survival is the core. And no, survival isnt getting a ton of friends to go PvP with others. How about a sort of "haunting" in certain places? Like the shipwreck and bus crash and other areas, you hear maybe crying or a death scream. Maybe a glimpse of a shadowy figure amidst the pile of bodies at the bus, or a shadow in the window of one of the highrises. Maybe a short, half second clip of the screams from the passengers of the plane crash in Cherno. It would all be random, never guaranteed. Whaddo yall think?

No, it doesnt. The barrel is so short, the cartridge doesnt have enough room to burn all the powder to push it to maximun potential. 25 feet would be a sniper shot. Point blank range is the purpose the gun was built on.

Theres a shizton of Chernarus not even ingame, we play on the coastal part of the country. And it was nuked in A2, and dont say its noncanon. Without A2, then there would be no UN presence, such as all the weatern gear now seen. Theyd protext their own before comin to Chernarus. It cant lose the host, or it will die. Tapeworms also keep other parasites out the stomach while theyre in, so think of it kinda like that.
