I dont think.you.understand...A muzzle loader requires.you.to.load the powder chqrge inthe.back, put the paper patch (or modwrn plastic case) over the projectile, that you.then load from the.muzzle down. Takes a LONG time, are LUCKY if you.can hit a target over 300 yards (my farthest was 200 on a deer) and isnt exactly a 50 cal. Its actually about .43 or .44 ish. I know this because it barely firs in an empty .45 case, and has wiggle room. imagine a .45 slug, but about 3/8 of an inch longwr and pointed.Yeah, its devestating but is impractical. Well like I.said, red dots are meant for cqc engagements, no.more than.about 100 yards. So a simple piece of neatly filed glass with a red dot of paint will work.in a oinch, if theres no.iron sights.
