So last night, my YouTube Channel's partner encountered UberHaxorNova while he was streaming and here's Part 1 of their adventures. My YouTube partner's a little lazy so I'd thought I'd post it in here for him. If you're interested in watching Nova's original stream, head here: http://www.twitch.tv/thecreatures/b/524313932 Check it out on Reddit too and up-vote! http://www.reddit.com/r/dayz/comments/24emo7/uberhaxornova_and_morgan_jones_in_dayz/

Hey guys, with it being Easter I'd thought I'd give a twist to my standard 'Super Friendly Adventures' series. Episode 6 of the series shouldn't be too far away either! And I wish you all a happy Easter, I hope you've all had a great day. Let me know what you think because I really do appreciate any and all feedback that you guys give! Also if you guys could upvote my post on Reddit too, that would be great! (Most stuff these days just gets down-voted anyway.) http://www.reddit.com/r/dayz/comments/23jkv2/dayz_standalone_easter_special_super_friendly/

I'd personally love to see dynamic events in DayZ such as your idea of hordes of Zombies. Maybe these hordes would randomly spawn in a variety areas (not just the north) and just slowly migrate, forcing players to flee or try and navigate around the horde. I'd imagine scenarios where players would warn each other of incoming hordes or potentially direct them towards the masses of zombies. Unfortunately I believe that performance issues will always limit ideas like these so I feel it's unlikely that we'll ever see a 'Zombie Horde' DayZ Experience.

It's a good idea but I couldn't see it working too well in DayZ.

Can players hear you on the mic after they kill you?
JD Cuda replied to thequantum's topic in New Player Discussion
Don't quote me on this but I believe if you are unconscious they can still hear you, but if you are dead then you can't speak. Strangely, in both states you are still able to hear people that around your body/corpse. -
So, during my travels around the island of Chernarus, I managed to stumble upon a JayZ fan who mistakenly believes me to be the iconic rapper. Thought you guys might find it interesting/funny. Let me know what you think!

Wow, awesome! Never realised that he was recording too, thanks for showing me that!

The first time I killed someone in Standalone was when a crazy Italian man ran at me just North of Komarovo. I presumed he was friendly at first when he jogged up the hill to me with his Fire Extinguisher out but instead he swung at me whilst shouting: "You're going to die". At this time I had a Pipe Wrench and we started swinging and hitting each other for around 4 minutes to the point where we were both bleeding. He couldn't hold his nerve, so he ran off into a house, where I followed him to see him collapse out of blood loss. In his final breath he said: "Motherfu..." Luckily I was able to pry his damaged T-Shirt off of his body and use it to bandage my wounds.

Hey guys this was just a little idea I was thinking of which I previously posted in the Steam Discussions for DayZ. I thought I'd share it here too. With Banditry and "Killing on Sight" rife in the game (don't get me wrong, it's what makes DayZ the game it is) I feel that there could be some more deterrent to mindlessly killing. A gunshot in real life, in terms of sound, rests between an average of 140-190 dB (depending on the weapon) which can cause immediate damage to the ears and a loss of hearing. Implementing this into DayZ where players would take the risk of losing hearing unless they found some sort of ear defender or other noise reducing apparel. I'm no expert with guns, this is mainly just based on a little research I did through the internet and through talking with a couple of people I know that use a range quite regularly. What do other people think?

Level KOS with share/trade, earlier sound warnings and shout option
JD Cuda replied to mike miller's topic in Suggestions
The concept of this sounds great and I really support the idea of an improved communication system, not so much as a Global/Side Channel but at least an improved range of Direct Chat. Even when I'm standing several meters away from another player I often struggle to hear them with audio settings to the max. I think a "Shout" option would be a good addition but I can't see this impacting the behavior of many players in that KoS won't be affected. -
Whenever I find a Mosin, I search endlessly for ammo but never find it. Since I've got a large rifle on my back, I instantly become a target and get killed. On the otherside when I find ammo, I never seem to be able to find the actual rifle up to the point where I'll eventually just stumble upon an M4 anyway. I suppose that's always the way in DayZ  When I'm looking for something in particular I'll never find it.

Color degradation from blood loss has to go (loss of visual fidelity)
JD Cuda replied to alleycat's topic in General Discussion
Gonna have to disagree here, in situations where I've been wounded and lost blood/sight I've been forced into enjoyable and bizarre situations where I'm asking strangers to help me out and use a Saline or Blood Bag IV on me. I kinda like it, promotes a social interaction with other players where I have to trust them, and they have to trust me. -
Back in the ArmA 2 Mod, I kinda loved and hated the create-a-waypoint mechanic. As a new player it was pretty useful helping to determine what city or town you were currently in without having to "Tab" out of the game to find an Online Map, but eventually it got to the point where I learnt the map well enough to have no need for it. I suppose either way it wouldn't bother me too much if they did re-implement waypoints, but I personally can't see it happening.

I'm just glad that the zombies are consistent in their speed. I was never really comfortable how they suddenly slowed down in the Mod whenever they stepped a foot inside.

I'm gonna put it out there and say that I actually enjoy playing on servers with night-time. I mean, it's intense. Just a shame that all my friends don't share the same opinion...
