What will be the first thing that you will do in SA?
S&M Inc. replied to Malvarik's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I'm going to play it. There isn't one thing or the other I can do. It's pretty circumstantial. The first thing I would like to do is experience no hackers. -
I think I understand what you meant, that zombies chased you because you didn't have morphine and consequently died. But still, that's what I took from this post.

Hope all you Americans enjoy 4th of July! If you stumble upon us, we are still recruiting.

http://www.dayztv.com/standalone/dean-hall-dayz-standalone-alpha-date-release-june-2013/ True story. He sure did say that in June they would review the game. June has been mentioned A LOT, but in essence Rocket has always meant "June is the month we'll see when we release it." If it doesn't come out during the summer, I'll be very dissapointed. Summer break was the reason DayZ Mod did so well.

Dean demostrated in a video where it was everything in your sight line. Things under beds were not included in your inventory. That's what I got out of it. If you can see it, you can get it. -
Sorry, that's our age requirement.

He said vehicles may stay, with the current broken mechanics, and then ripped out and stuffed with the new ones. It has not been confirmed to my knowledge, and if it has, then oh well. Isn't a zombie Apocalypse in no way related to the Arma 2 campaign? Isn't that straying off immensely already? I've played over 24+ hours in Arma 2+OA. Shack tac missions against real players are the only interesting thing for me. The campaign and co-op missions are just boring. Like to have my play time have meaning, and DayZ did that perfectly. -

I was lead to believe that crosshairs is a server side choice, not central server side rule. I don't get why the bag system has gotten worse, nor the loot, nor the UI. It looks functional. You are still able to double click, same way as you would have before. Blanket "I don't like anything about this specific thing" statements always make me uncomfortable, cause I doubt there is going to be much discussion. -
Yeah, I'm talking more about an actual map. Like every map is it's own map. Which might take up more storage, but not much, right?
-
I would say the same thing for radios. The cool part about it would be if someone actually could FIND your map, for me... They could see if you marked where your base/storage area is. Think it would really add to the immersion of it.

What I mean by this is will we be able to set down our map, have everyone PHYSICALLY walk up to it, and see exactly what is on it, also allowing others edit it? I think this would be a cool thing to do. To get into a secured building with your group, all sit down, and look at a map and plan on where you want everyone to go. I think it could really promote cooperation. Of course, there are 3rd party programs out their, and the only one that I've seen worthwhile is one called Gameplan that is in greenlight for Steam and hasn't been published yet. But all the other ones don't seem too hot. I think it would be a cool feature. Any idea what's going on with that?
