Just looking for a group of people to enjoy dayz with, whether it be a large clan or just a group of people i dont mind. I have a mic, skype and teamspeak! (DO NOT WANT TO GO THROUGH APPLICATIONS.. BACKGROUND CHECKS, GIVING YOU MY SOCIAL, MY DNA AND ETC ETC ETC. ITS JUST A GAME, I ONLY WANT PEOPLE TO ENJOY IT WITH.)

Im a fairly new player to dayz and would like a clan or a few veterans to teach me what they can, im an extremely fast learner and will be valuable to a group. I do know were to find basic guns and such, im also able to drive/ pilot but want VETERAN knowledge on the game and generally just some people to keep me company on an adventure. (will download ts , have mic)

its saying arma 2 not found: out of date, when i click install it gives me error downloading

when i tried to download arma 2 via dayz commanded it says error downloading instantly...

so i now have dayz commander, arma 2 and arma 2 operation arrowhead installed. What do i do from here?

Do i need operation arrow head beta off steam? how do i know what version i need to download?

I recently made a forum post here about a week ago about getting my game running and just had no luck so i deleted stream , commander, arma and everything... Im back to give the game one more shot.. Ive just downloaded stream and would like an experienced member to give me VERY specific instructions on what to do. Im currently 60% through downloading arma 2 and will be downloading OA next. What do i need to do after that? please write me a list and mention if play w six is better than commander / easier to install. Do i need to download OA beta?

ive already launched both, i can join like 1/1000 games, i think im about ready to give up.

the steps i took were as followed. downloaded stream, downloaded arma 2 and OA via stream, downloaded commander, then tried to download the dayzmod from commander. its telling me my arma 2 is up to date but that dayz is not found, when i hit install it gives me this.. would really appreciate any help. this has got to be the hardest game to fix issues with it is really not user friendly AT ALL.

i tried clicking repair / reinstall and it gave me an error notice says the download and extract was invalid. redownloading EVERYTHING for now. got fed up of nothing working.

thanks guys, im actually one step ahead, redownloading EVERYTHING arma, OA, all that good stuff from scratch, then will run them and get commander again, will keep everyone posted and thanks for the replies.

So i purchased arma 2, downloaded via stream and all that good stuff about 3 months ago and had dayz working fine. I quit and recently came back yesterday and tried to run the game via dayzcommander and had numerous issues. When i filter "incorrect dayz version" it lists off EVERY SINGLE SERVER. i understand that you're supposed to go to install/update and do something from there but when i try to update the dayz mod , it says its corrupt. I have no clue what to do to fix this and would appreciate help, i just want to get the game going again..
