Anyone else noticed this? It's very hard to hear other over voice in the game, tried turning the sound sliders up, but still not good enough. And the VOIP slider doesn't seem to do much at all? Possible to do anything about it? Maybe am missing something?

Saw this last night, awesome, gave me a good laugh :D Though didn't like that they ended up killing them in the end, really should have let them live after that.

So just updated to the newest beta patch and DayZ update, found a 1.7.1 server and joined, and noticed right away that the game is lagging like hell, probably got an fps around 5, from 60+- before the update, and no change in settings either. Anyone else noticed this?

So am wondering, is it based on where the server is(IP)? Or does it goes after the clock on the server? So one could manipulate it? Or something else? Anyway, is it possible to manipulate somehow?

So if i choose to get one of the dedicated servers in Europe, it's possible to set them up as a DayZ server? Read something somewhere that said with the dedicated servers you couldn't setup DayZ server, so you had to buy the slot servers. And i thought that with dedicated server you could almost do anything you would with them, as you have "direct" control over them? Edit: The W3520 option for Europe, would that be able to host more than one instance of a 50 people DayZ server?

The group channel, how does it work? Is it possible to add people to your group somehow so you can talk to them?

According to most of the "tweak guides" i've seen for the game, they say turn vsync off, but there is also some that say keep it on, so am wondering what is "right"? Ofc if your FPS is under your refresh rate most of the time, i guess vsync is pointless, but if it's mostly above vsync should be on, or what?

Not at all, as long as the product is good, i'll gladly buy DayZ as a standalone game. But either way, if we look into the feature, i really hope we'll see this mod for ARMA 3 as well.

Only experienced night time in the game one time so far, and it looked pretty much like the bottom picture in the topic starter. I have a GTX 580. But @Lady Kyrah, i can see the buildings and such just fine on your full moon pictures, so i guess it all depends on season and moon placement? Nothing wrong with my settings, or?

Little side question here, is it the red/orange icon that pops up on the screen sometimes, that tells you if your desynced or not?

[attachment=662] As you can see on the picture above, ARMA II shows up twice, and am just wondering if this is normal? Or have i done something wrong? Launched the game through steam, by selecting Combined Operation.

Thanks for the answer =) Can anyone else confirm that they see the same on their game? The game has been working so far, so i guess it's nothing at all, but am a bit curious as to why there is two entries of Arma II.
