I have no idea what else to do.

Atempted to delete the registry and download Arma OA again. It had no effect on my install and it continues to get the Wrong CD Key message each time I try the patch. I'll continue looking through possibilities, but if there's any recommendations to be given, sharing them would be appreciated.

It appears as though I can. Servers using 1.62 allow me to enter them. A wasteland and a random battle server. Edit:Forgot to mention. The only 3rd party applications i've downloaded have been that registry fix and the manual patch from this website with a the list of builds(http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php). I haven't applied anything else for the sake of my CD key.

I've been lead to believe it does not completely remove the last patches through downloading the newest patch on DayZCommander. I don't know that to be true, but I can check to see if it does.

Have indeed, Completely deleted all information relating to Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA. That includes the files left over in steam apps after local files have been deleted. With a clean slate, I did the whole verify, start up, and install patch process. No good. I realize the issue with previous beta build and I made sure that it was clean before downloading the 103718 patch.
  5. "Wrong CD Key" This phrase has plagued me for the past three days of troubleshooting to get DayZ to work. Whether I apply the stable beta patch 103718 manually or through DayZCommander, this pesky error message follows me everywhere. I am at my wits end. I don't have a damn clue how to fix it, so I request assistance if anyone has something I haven't tried. I'll elaborate on this a bit. I've got Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA both on steam without combined operations. I've had it upward of a year and a half and I was capable of playing Dayz four or so months ago. When I had a hankering to play DayZ after the E3 reveal, I redownloaded the games and got DayZCommander back on my comp. Since I previously had the issue of "Wrong CD Key" I went through the forums and did the recommended troubleshooting for the steam versions. Run steam on administer, verify integrity of both games, start them up, then download the patch through DayZCommander. This step has always ended with the same failure every single time. "Wrong CD Key" pops up 3% into the download of the patch and I repeat the steps three more times before experimenting with whatever I could find. Go out of my way to run everything applicable with adminstrator, Download a registry fix( ), and downloading the patch manually outside of Dayzcommander.Nada, no luck whatsoever. Odd thing is, I can download all previous patches of the game and they successfully take without issues. It's only beta patch 103718. I contacted BI support just in case to see if the issue was the key itself, but I doubt it's what's causing the problem. If there's some miracle fix that I haven't tried, please, let me know. If you need anymore information on anything, i'll answer it happily.
