So what your saying is DayZ should be on the Arma III engine because of the Graphics? Utterly Ridiculous Graphics aren't everything

It seems to fire to the left too much in game.

Played OPF, Arma 2, Arma 3, DayZ mod and DayZ SA. Been playing for a very long time. I try to get a few hours on the SA each day but its hard cause of work etc.

I think it is a good decision as much as i admire Dean Hall. In terms of the DayZ Standalone he wasn't the main man in making the game what it is now he was more of the frontman encouraging people to buy his game or not encouraging them either way. In the end what we see now is all due to the programmers and designers. Listening to the stream Brian Hicks did previously i'm confident they have the proper vision for DayZ. Though i'll be honest DayZ will lose a bit of its appeal once Dean is gone. Keep in mind its not till the end of the year so DayZ may even be in beta by then before Dean leaves.

There are 3 women and 2 guys in the group i play with sometimes and we don't treat anyone differently because that would be stupid.

I realise in the video my mic wasn't recording but the other guys was. I usually try help new spawns when the game starts to get a bit boring.

I like being able to see what actions my character is doing sometimes i find it hard to tell if my character in doing certain things in hardcore mode. I'm also a big fan of RPGs like dark souls so am in to customizing my character and like being able to see how he/she looks. Simple

It's surprisingly hard to hit a bambi who is running super fast around you. Though i did hit him 4-6 times.

I don't think so im pretty sure he thought i was just attacking a random fresh spawn when obviously i wasn't it would be awesome if he did see the video but i doubt it.

Main reason i play on third person servers is because i like being able to see my character.

Svetlojarsk i went there on a 40/40 server there were about 4 sks and 2 mosins there.

I hit him roughly 4-6 times with my axe and he was still standing. Then i saw a military guy who didn't look too friendly so i didn't take my chances and ran. You can hear the military dude shot the kid.

I will record more encounters later and see if it goes any better. So far the majority will either swear at me then try to punch me to death or will charge at me with swinging fists. I am determined to find some friendly players though.

Yeah at this point in time i was pretty bored and wasn't worried about dying the reason for me standing in the middle of the road. Its more of an experiment to see how players will act.

I just realised that i posted this in the general discussion thread and not the gallery thread. If someone could move it would be much appreciated.

I appreciate the suggestions. Though as i said before i could snipe in the DayZ mod but the standalone is quite a bit different in terms of sniping i didn't have my bipod out and i don't actually have a compensator on the mosin.
