On the subject. Has anyone ever met a friendly russian? Countless hours on the mod. 200+ on standalone I've never met a friendly Russian. They usually start randomly swearing at me or try to kill me.

Been known since the standalone was released.. It's just a tent. Doesn't do anything.

I play as a hero character. I hang around Solnichy helping fresh spawns and protecting them from bandits etc. If i see an armed player ill sneak up on him tell him to lower his weapon, ask if he wants to trade anything and we part ways. There is a lot more risk as a hero character but its far more enjoyable. If any new spawns try to punch me then they meet my axe, shotgun, pistol. -
I play as a hero which still provides a lot of enjoyment. As their is a lot of risk.

Player numbers are too small at the minute so even if they expanded to spawning everywhere. You would barely ever meet anyone. There was a 64/64 server up yesterday for a couple of hours before it got taken down because obviously servers higher than 40/40 aren't allowed. Playing on that 64/64 was really fun mainly because you actually met people up north. If they could spread out the spawns across the map and make the servers for more than 40 people then it would be more enjoyable.

These two bandits where sniping everyone even fresh spawns in Solinichy or however you spell it. They hit me earlier ruined all my gear. So i snuck up to the top of the quarry and axed them both took what wasn't ruined and left. Just thought i would share as its moments like this which are awesome. Cheers

You have to bring your axe up now by hitting "space bar". Then you can hit. Whats retarded is that you can run full speed with the axe now. You clearly didn't play for very long before coming here to complain.

In my opinion server-hopping is just as bad as playing on an empty server to loot up.

That's not being a bandit just a murderer.

There is 6 or 7 military bases on the map. Your telling me than on a 40/40 server you went to all of them and didn't find a gun or food i call bullsh**t. There is also about 5-8 towns that nobody ever searches e.g.Pulkovo, Myshkino, Pogorevka, Rogovo, Shakhovka, Dolina.

Go up north or even to cherno where there is always plenty left.

Playing on a low pop loot up and then switching to a high pop server.

People who loot on low pop servers are annoying.

Plays on empty servers and was thinking of combat logging. I dislike that playstyle.

Stopped taking you seriously when saw your the type who plays on empty servers to get looted up. Dislike people who do that.

Played OPF, Arma 2, Arma 3, DayZ mod and DayZ SA. Been playing for a very long time. I try to get a few hours on the SA each day but its hard cause of work etc.
