Okay thanks guys! I forget that this is a mod and not a game. Good ideas

Dayz is an awesome game. You can ride around with friends, shoot others that threaten you, get those DMRs and Urals. I love playing DayZ with my friends. Some things just suck though, especially with the new patch 1.7.7 (I think those are the correct numbers?). I also hope everyone knows that I'm whiney and want to complain alll the time about how unfair life is (not really). These are just my thoughts. I know it looks long but if you take the time to read it, I'd be grateful :D. So here are my suggestions and flaws for DayZ. 1. Zombies I know zombies should be the main threat, (besides those darn bandits that follow you everywhere in their Ghillie suits) but after playing for a while with the new patch, I think they're too hard. Yes, I admit I find them difficult to defeat. They knock you down now, and they knock you down like every other hit! It should be a knock down every 6 hits you take or so in my opinion. Second, now they infect you? I understand the infection part happening, but it seems like I'm getting infected way too much. I would have it at like 10% chance of infection when being hit. I think they fixed them hitting you through walls at least so that's exciting. I don't mind the zigzagging too much, but I'd prefer it was more like a zombie amble than a full on ziggyzaggy sprint right up to you. So what do you guys think? Too hard? Perfect? 2. Vehicle Glitches There's nothing more frustrating when you've parked your car in the woods 1,000 meters from the busiest town, you roll in with your gun at the ready, get chased by a billion zombies, load up on food, guns, accessorices, car parts, dive back out and run back to your car, barely make it, and you load it into your car, and then- wait where did it go? There have been a few cars, that when loaded with items, disappear. I'm not sure of the nature of this glitch, but it SUCKS. There are also issues with ATV's jiggling on the grass all the time and rolling down hills and getting stuck in trees. I would suggest no more getting stuck in trees, on bridges, or the dreaded evergreens in those damn woods that destroy your car. Bridges especially, as well as railroad tracks. I think they fixed some of the glitches though like accidently falling out of vehicles. I know it's probably asking too much, but I didn't mind being invincible in a car while 30 zombies hit at your door either :). 3. Custom Skins and Characterization There have been many times where my friends and I have been on skype, and we see someone with a gun come barreling down the road." Is that you? Where? Wut? Huh, oh dude I found an M16! Where are you guys" everyone is confused, you're not sure if it's your friend or not. I wish there was a way to tell people apart. I have blue and white face paint and aviators. I know you can change your face and there are nametags but it would be cool to pick our your shirt and pants and hat and everything! Maybe I'm just saying that cause I'm a girl, but my friend Logan always talks about how he can't tell people apart. Sometimes we accidently shoot eachother. Just a nice perk to have? Maaaybee....make you able to have girl characters....like...100% of the timee. 4. Your Character is SO SLOWWWW!!! You've just entered the airfield on your ATV to the rescue. All of a sudden a guy jumps out in a Ghillie Suit and is ready to attack. Okay time to get off your ATV and fight him! Your guy will take....like 4 seconds to get out of a car. By then you're dead. You're holding a gun and want to whip our your axe for the zombies gathering around you. Wait 3 seconds for your guy to change his weapon. You're climbing up a ladder. Better let those zombies eat your legs while you take your time putting your weapon away so you can crawl up the ladder. I just wish it didn't take as loong. Again, just a suggestion. I don't mean to complain. I also wish you moved faster in water 5. Gun Zeroing Ever notice how it takes 3 shots to kill a zombie with certain guns? With the servers that have crosshairs to aim for when shooting, many guns are wrong. For example, when using an M16, aim higher than the head to get a headshot. It's not a huge problem, but I wish some guns were accurate. 6. Items (awesome items) Sometimes pain killers don't work. Sucks. I also don't understand the random useless items that are in the game. Whiskey bottles? Razors? TOILET PAPER? Unless we can wrap the zombies up and mummify them with the toilet paper, I'm not taking those. Again, not really a problem...but why the useless items? It is kind of amusing to joke about though. Hey buddy, you look like you could use a shave. Now what would be cool? Wielding razors and slicing things up like you're Sweeney Todd or Edward Scissorhands. Now that's boss. You know what else I want? SPRAY PAINT. On buildings, on cars! I'd like to decorate my car with purple spray paint please. Parachutes for helicopters. Hell yeah. Certain shoes that made you run faster. Extra armor like a helmet that prevents headshots (they can still shoot you in the face though). What else would be cool and kind of terrifying? Rope. Rope to tie people up with. Now that's scary. "Get the rope from the Ural!" OH GOD NOT ROPE!! Also you can add an extremely rare item. Locks. Locks can go on your tent, car, backpack, doors, I don't know. I don't know what you'd do with them or how they work. Just a small idea. What do you guys want? Some good items I love are the meat steaks that regenerate blood. GREAT idea if you're traveling alone and you have no blood bags. I agree with most of the items like binoculars, matches, hatchet, etc, except I wish you could have your flashlight and hatchet out at the ready at all times. Like combo your hatchet and large gun or something. I don't know. I like the map, Gps, watch, all that. I especially like the variety of guns you get...mwahahaha. I'd like hatchets to be a bit more powerful on people maybe (if you know where to aim). 7. Inventory Okay so the inventory thing completely confuses me sometimes. Firstly, I wish tents, cars, planes, whatever can hold items, would tell you how much space you have left. Like showed number of slots, or had a bigger menu that showed every square. I wish you could always open your backpack and see it, and it displayed the number of slots on everything. I also notice glitches with item placing. You set something down, it disappears. Uh okay I just lost my gun. I also wish that when you swapped bags, your stuff transferred over to the new bag. Not a big issue though on that. I wish the setup for inventory was more distinct and orderly. I like the idea of some items taking up more than one space though; it makes the game more difficult and realistic. Because who can fit 20 tires in that bag? That's right. If anyone has ever played minecraft, I wish it showed the inventory like on minecraft. Showing every space. Do you guys know what I mean? How do you think it should be set up? 8. Etc? I hear you can do this, but I've never been able to. If you are the passenger in a vehicle and there are no windows, you can shoot at people through the car while it's moving. Do some drive bys dude. I wish boats moved faster, for some reason the white ones go 10 mph? It would be SO COOL if there was an actual working train. That'd be some crazy train. *Queue Ozzy Osborne* Maybe a more solid clan system. Sign up for an actual clan, have a permanent chat channel and even get to design your own base? Buildings item? I don't know. Also, completely custom maps. Make a theme park. Make New York City. I don't know. So I included many things I like and don't like about DayZ. I want to know your guy's opinion on all of this. I hope you read it all or at least a section or two that corresponds to you. I know DayZ is a great game, it's crazy and fun and there are no rules. Be a rebel, be a hero. You choose. I like the realistic setting and the difficulty of living in a wilderness/military type area. I'd really like to know what YOU GUYS think of all this. What you think of my forum, of DayZ and it's ups and downs. Suggestions? I just hope people take the time to read this and respond.
