Yeah I noticed this too. I found one early in one for my first lives. Now current character has survived a couple days, I have trekked to NEAF, then to NWAF and have yet to find a can opener. I've found 20 or so M4A1's. have about 400 rounds of ammo. No can opener.

Are you saying you didn't have your flash light on and he was seeing you? If he wasn't far and you were moving, he could have heard the sound of you walking. I find it's easier to hear people nearby than the mod. -
yeah hopefully they're corrected. They do seem to see you from far away but there's not that many zombies around. I can go through towns without encountering one. They appear to be in the very early stages of development. They don't even roam yet. The only time I was remotely concerned was when i tested out the gas lamp at night in the middle of a town. It drew all the zombies from at least 100m radius. Even then it only pulled 3.

I'm sure it's probably on the agenda. How much of a priority, hard to say. I mean each new type of building, I assume they have to manually add to each area to replace the existing ones once they have a model created. I believe this to be true as they had to manually go to every lake and add the function commands & zones for drinking and refilling. It's the same reason there's a couple of water pumps out there that don't work. Maybe it was intentional to have a couple of broken ones. I like that they added new areas on top of adding interior to existing ones. It shows just how much work they've put into it. If it was me, I'd put it on the bottom of the list. There's more pressing features to add. Like animals and cooking. Also I think once/if they add tents or storage items you can have one server this will lower the amount of server jumping. It'll still happen but people will tend to stick to a server once server side features are implemented such as vehicles or player created camps. -
Please make US servers day/night cycle match our time

They really should have shorter day/night cycles if they're going to enforce the day/night times. I think 4 hours or 6 hours for each before changing. I know we're dealing with realism, but the hunger & thirst already isn't accurate to a 24 hour system so why should the night/day be? I leave work at 6 pm. It's already night time when I login at around 6:30 pm and it's night time until 2 am. With this system, I'll only be able to play daytime during weekends. Also agree with the gamma correction being disabled. -

Crossbows just got that more important. I was managing well killing zombies. I was lucky to fix a crossbow before finding a melee weapon.
